Paturi is a good deshi food restaurant . Today we went there for Sehri , it was not at all crowded. The sitting arrangement is good . Food was great too ... but one problem was the room where we sat- the aircon, was not working properly- the swing button didnot work so we were sweating while eating ...also the restaurant was covered with mosquito, could not sit, had to move every moment. Then they gave us a bat to kill them . Later on had to turn on the air purifier with mosquito repellent, then could sit to eat . The moment we entered the restaurant one of the waiter came and told us that there was no water in the tank as their water machine got some problems so we can not use the washroom !! But they can arrange water for washing our hands !! 😔 The food was good specially the ghono daal and Vetki mach er paturi and Jhura gosh. Chingri mach er paturi was alright, Labra was not tasty ! The Bhorta platter was expensive and the quantity was poor ! Deshi Chicken with Alu was good ! Couldn't get any kind of Tea !! Anyways pls call before you go to Paturi and ask about the water condition!! I was talking to a friend who visited Paturi twice this Ramadan time and faced the same type of...

Some of the food are wraped in fresh leaves to enhance the aromas - we teied their shrimp coconut in lotus leaf, tasty! My favorite is fried Illis fish! This is most delicious! Pomfred also good and some fresh water fishes in tomato soup also amazing. They called their country chicken as indigenous chicken which means the same - very delicious altho bonny and not as big meaty as regular farm chicken. This kind of chicken also tend to be harder but is much tastier and delicious. We tried this chicken cook as curry with young mango pickles. What a wonderful combo! The muttons and potato curry also incredibly delicious. We ended up asking for more rice and another round of fried illis fish. We all like their Kulfi but unfortunately the misty doi - sweet yoghurt is already sold out. All in all highly recommended...
