Took my desi parents to this fancy steakhouse for the first time and they are absolutely in love with steaks. Great atmosphere, the texan theme makes it even more aesthetic. Take your eldes with you, they might think they are in their village home (cause of the lanterns and hay stacks).
We took two of their famous platters for 5 people (we were hungry but usually it would have been too much). Carnivore's steak fiesta and double trouble. They recommend the steaks to be medium for these particular cuts.
Double trouble. Steaks were phenomenal but would recommend to finish them first or they might get chewy because of their inner heat. Chiken (from double trouble) was good. Chiken wings from the double trouble were average. Sausages were really tasty. Every side dish is one better than the other... Cilantro rice from the double trouble was really good.
About the carnivore, These ribs are to die for! Phenomenal! One stake was the same cut as the double trouble.. really good. The macNcheese/pasta was really good. I personally enjoyed the potato and sausage thingy (forgot the name) they had in the platter.
Hollandaise sause was a bit too sweet than my liking. Cheese sause is a bit funky (that's how real cheese is supposed to be) so beware of that. Alabama hot sauce was perfectly spicy. The mushroom sause and bacon sause are basically the same sause with different topping. Both are amazing, perfectly umami to pair with your steak. I'd recommend you to get the sauteed mushrooms in side. They don't use canned, it's fresh mushrooms so the taste and texture is better. Mashed potatoes were nothing too crazy.
Unfortunately one of the potato wedges had a spoiled slice of potato, upon informing them they offered to fully replace the whole serving of the wedges (aro ek plate dite chaise :'3). But seeing their generousity we insisted it wasn't necessary and it was just a still mistake.
Overall absolutely amazing experience and would...
ย ย ย Read moreExtremely Disappointed โ Never Going Back I had a terrible experience today at Texas Flames around 12 p.m. Despite their 11:30 a.m. opening time, we walked into an unprepared and messy restaurant. The staff (one man in particular) greeted us not with a โhelloโ but by saying it would take 45 minutes for food. He was loudly sweeping the floor right in front of us while we sat, moving chairs and spraying cleaning chemicalsโnone of which should be happening in front of paying customers. Worst of all, the same person threw the broom on the floor when we called him to order. He didnโt smile, was visibly annoyed the entire time, and acted completely unprofessional. After we placed the order, we were told to move to the smoking zone because he had to clean where we were sitting. That made us extremely uncomfortable and unsafe as we were three women alone in an empty restaurant. To make matters worse: โข No proper cutlery or plates were provided with the food. They only gave it to us after we asked for it after the food being served. โข No one checked in on usโnot once. โข They played Islamic Waaj loudly through the speakers, which felt inappropriate for a steakhouse. Itโs about professionalism and creating a neutral atmosphere, especially for diverse customers. โข They turned off the AC in the main area and didnโt bother to move us back after cleaning. โข We had to ask for everythingโeven the billโand were handed a plain receipt, no folder, no courtesy. We had to go to the counter & ask for the bill because there were no waiters to serve us.
We spent over 3000 BDT and left feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, and angry. Iโve been to Texas Flames before and enjoyed itโbut this experience was appalling. Until the management takes this seriously, hires proper staff, and trains them in basic customer service, I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. You deserve better...
ย ย ย Read moreOur experience was extremely disappointing. Today we visited there, arriving shortly after the restaurantโs opening time, we found the place disorganized, with cleaning still underway and staff showing no regard for customer presence. One staff member in particular was dismissive, and visibly annoyed, even throwing a broom on the floor and asking us to relocate to a smoking area so he could clean. Literally we felt unsafe and unwelcome, especially as we three girls were alone in an empty restaurant. There was also lacking of basic servicesโno cutlery or plates were provided until requested, no staff checked in during the meal, and the bill was only given after we approached the counter by ourselves ,even they gave us the cash memo without any kinda folder. The atmosphere was uncomfortable too, worsened by the loud playing of Islamic Waaq, which I think unsuitable for a steakhouse aiming to serve a broad clientele.
We left feeling completely ripped off. The entire experience was a jokeโzero professionalism, zero courtesy, and absolutely no sense of how to run a restaurant. It's outrageous that such poorly trained, careless staff are allowed to interact with paying customers. This place doesnโt deserve a single money until they fire the useless staff, clean up their act, and learn what basic customer service means cz no one deserves to waste their time or money on such an...
