Nous avons attendu plus d’heure avant d’avoir nos plats. Ne pas choisir les plats du jour cuisine très longue. Spaghetti bolognaise banale. Vous payez le lieu Horta mais pas la qualité de la cuisine et du service ÉDIT suite au droit de réponse du propriétaire: Comme vous pourrez le constater, le propriétaire préfère juger la clientèle plutôt que de chercher à améliorer son service comme par exemple prévenir que le temps d’attente peut être long et dans ce cas suggérer un autre plat (les autres restaurants savent le faire). En tout cas, je vous remercie de ne pas avoir facturé un plat qui n’était pas cuit et que j’ai renvoyé en cuisine. Je vous remercie de vouloir m’aider à être un meilleur parent. De mon côté je peux aider votre cuisinier à cuire 2 patates en moins de 1h. Pour votre proposition de café je n’avais pas 1h de plus devant moi pour les consommer. Bien à vous. « Cher monsieur, quand vous venez au restaurant à 15h et que vous prenez la suggestion canard confit, cela prends effectivement plus de temps que des pâtes pour le restant de la tablée. Il ne faut pas vous étonner que les enfants ont faim à 15h. Cependant, vu que vous avez trouvé que ce n'était pas à votre goût, on vous a offert votre plat et la possibilité d'avoir un café en plus. Delightful venue, delicious food and very nice service. We had the Salmon, with veg and potatoes and a sauce, absolutely 5* and the burger, which was very good. The high ceiling, brightness and incredible artwork all add to making it a very nice and relaxing time. We visited the Comic museum and had a terrific time, and this was perfect and served as the dinner if the day. It's a beautiful venue.

I've went for a visit at Horta and paid 17 euros for a burger that was delivered raw and 4 euros for a half basket of bad fries. Aside, the chicken nuggets of 10 euros looked and tasted like they are from the freezer. Mc Donalds would have delivered a far better deal and quality food. At least the burger wouldn't be raw for sake.

I visited after a trip to the neighbouring comic book centre, and felt I got a great introduction to Belgian food, drink and interior design. The restaurant was designed by Victor Horta, and you can tell. The restaurant feels spacious (even though it is not a huge restaurant), gorgeously designed and is softly lit. I was able to be accommodated on my own without a reservation, but would recommend reserving as it was a squeeze to fit me in given the space and popularity.

I got the steak américain and the beer of the month, and both were excellent. For those not inspired by a burger, I would strongly recommend trying some Belgian cuisine instead. I was looking forward to trying steak américain and wasn't disappointed. As someone who is a bit overwhelmed by Belgian beer culture, the beer of the month was a great choice.

I'm really sorry to write this, but we have booked table for 19 people, with 4 different menu options and when we arrived there was no table for us !!! Finally we get two separate tables. That day we were celebrating 10th anniversary of marriage our friends! We had agreement for 4 different menus but in the end all of us had ti eat almost this same.l, same dessert - tarte au fromage for all and carbonade de flamande. It was written 0,5l per person of wine in reality we had 2 refills of wine, no bread at the table with the starters. Totally haos with with coffe orders . A wonderful place to relax and have a great meal in the heart of Bruxelles! The brasserie is neatly set in the beautiful Horta Palace, a building that shows awesome Liberty architecture and decorations. The location is breathtaking, but the atmosphere is still cozy and very friendly. The menu is quite rich, with choices for all different moods. They also have a nice set of dishes of the day. The food is eccellent: fresh, neatly cooked. The staff is as welcoming as can be. Prices are very fair considering all the above. From now on, it will be a must-do when in Bruxelles....
