I came in around 6 p.m., and the place was empty. That’s fine, but when I ordered, the menu said ~13€, yet I was charged 15€ — looks like they raised prices without updating the board.
The food came out in under a minute: rice, a few salad bits, and beef. It wasn’t bad, but very simple — basically impossible to mess up. Portion size was okay for me (I had the medium), but felt small for the price. For 15€, you can get double the value at other nearby spots.
Atmosphere was minimalist: hard seats, nowhere obvious to hang coats, and Latin music playing (odd choice for an Asian place). Cleanliness was “medium” — not dirty, but not particularly spotless either. The staff were fine, probably just students working, but it didn’t feel authentic. The menu has variety, but almost everything is overpriced (even sides were ~8€).
The one thing I genuinely liked was the artwork and logo — whoever designed those did a great job. But overall, this feels less like a restaurant made with passion and more like someone’s business idea: “let’s open an Asian place in a wealthy area and see what...
Read moreFood was alright, but service was ridiculous. Made us wait more than an hour for not that big order. And we went few times asking progress of our order to which we have been told it is coming. Second time we are told sushi machine is broken. If they were sensible they would have informed us about the issue and given a choice of different order. Also saw serving other people before us even though they have come later than us. Pretty disappointed. The ridiculous part is that you have to first pay for the order before receiving it so we couldn't go and find somewhere else either.. absolute joke!!! I have to call out the mixed race lady ( sorry didnt take the name) - thank you for your help. If it wasnt for her we would be waiting until the store close. So thank you very much, you really saved the day. And she apologised along with the tall brown haired boy. However, the short haired French lady was...
Read moreWhen I came inside everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I didn’t know how it worked and they helped me really well.
They explained everything really good and it was nice I also got to know the history of rhe restaurant!
I took the Gyoza starters and as main dish I tried the typical Japanese Gyu Don with perfect egg and the Kimchi. I’ve never triend it before, but it was delicious!
For drinks I had the Yuzu Lemonade (Never had it before either) and it was very refreshing and had a unique, but delicious taste.
I also decided to try their What The Fox beer and it was also very good!
Their interior really felt like something from a Japanese book! I loved it! And it was very clean. Which is something very important for me when eating somewhere.
I’m definitely coming here again! I want to try everything on the menu!...
