Can’t find enough words to share my frustration. I’m religious person with certain food restrictions and at the same time I’m allergic to seafood. After getting a dish from “Vegetarian” section of the menu from the very first bite I could feel there is shellfish/oyster sauce inside. Once we asked the lady is there any fish/shellfish sauce inside - without any hesitation she said “yes!”. Chance for me not to have anaphylactic shock were literally 0.01% and I didn’t have my EPI Pen with me…. Once we shared the issue she started to argue explaining that fish/shellfish is not meat therefor it’s vegetarian…. Despite leaving immediately my friend asked what they can offer and her answer was even more surprising…. The only dish without oyster sauce is curry…. Which i believe has meat. All dishes from Vegetarian section has shellfish sauce inside, even veggie rice. Thankfully this time I didn’t end up in the ICU, but I know what is it and how does it feel. The only words I can find to the owner - “I hope none of your customers not gonna die on your watch. By misleading customers you are playing with their lives”. I will file a report with governmental body responsible for public food services. Hopefully this gonna help before someone harmed.
P.S. I don’t need any compensation or refund from you, my only concern is to protect your future customers from breaking their allergic/religious believes/food restrictions. At the end you had a shame to charge us that dish……. Blamed us again that we didn’t ask you to bring the bill and asked...
Read moreWe ordered the Massaman curry which is supposed to be a rich, flavourful, and mildly spicy redish Thai curry due to the red peppers. We received a brown curry which didn't have any special qualities to it. It was very bland and not colorful. We also ordered Pad See Ew which is a stir-fried noodle. It is usually made with fresh wide noodles that are dry and super delicious. The main ingredient in Pad See Ew is gai lan (chinese broccoli). The dish that they served us didn't have any. The setting is quite nice. The restaurant is located in a main floor of an apartment building with fireplaces and very tall ceilings. Overall the food was not bad, but it definitely was not...
Read moreThe server was very patient with me when I asked a lot of questions which was very nice. I ordered the Dim Sum which was okay and I had the chicken pad Thai with a request to make it spicy and that was actually REALLY GREAT for me. Matter of fact, it was the best chicken pad Thai I’ve had while traveling throughout Europe over the last few months. It was odd to get it served with lemon when I’m used to a lime, but in any event, it added to the flavor profile. I would eat here regularly for that pad Thai if I...
