It wasn't my plan to grab food here but the authentic Chinese restaurant nearby is closed so I had to check this place. Food: the rice was not well cooked. Some had the inner part still hard. I could not taste the burnt flavor of the wok which defeats the name of the place. The sauce was a bit too salty. It would have been okay but the sauce was mixed with some portion of the rice and that made that portion not good to eat. The portion of the meat is so small. The Chinese restaurant nearby serves a whole plate of meat with more rice with a price difference of 5€ only. 1 point. Service: the food was well prepared/presented and was served in a reasonable time. 4 points. Atmosphere: the place is well decorated and cleaned.

Alright, so let’s get down to details. I live in Brussels and go around twice a week to eat. Being an Asian and having eaten Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese and all food available in Asia, this was my experience: 1. Bland food 2. Tasteless and undercooked noodles 3. Undercooked vegetables The food is nothing like shown in the pictures and my wife felt Pukish afterwards. I felt nauseous too. There are many better options available around so spend your money wisely people 🙂

I recently dined at YouWok De Brouckère, hoping for a flavorful and satisfying wok noodle experience. Unfortunately, the meal fell short of my expectations, leaving me with a sense of disappointment.

The wok noodles I ordered were bland and lacked the robust flavors I was anticipating. The dish seemed to be missing the energy and spices that are typically characteristic of a well-prepared wok meal. The noodles themselves were cooked well, but the overall taste was underwhelming.

In addition to the lackluster flavors, I found the prices at YouWok De Brouckère to be quite steep, especially considering the quality of the food. The cost of the meal did not align with the overall dining experience, leaving me feeling that I did not receive good value for my money.

While the staff were polite and the restaurant itself was clean and orderly, the uninspired dish and high prices overshadowed these positive aspects. It's unfortunate to say, but my experience at YouWok De Brouckère was mediocre, and I am hesitant to return...

If you are looking for Asian food or fried noodles in Brussels, the place is definitely not a choice. I would score the service with 1/5. And the food, the noodles is a total tragedy. The sauce is uneatable and the noodles is oddly tasteless. Although the restaurant offers quite a few choices, however, they all taste disgusting.

If you are a westerner and have never eaten Asian noodles before, you should never go. It doesn’t taste anything like Asian cuisine. If you are Asian and are craving for Asian food in Europe, you should also not go there. The food will make you regret for ever visited the restaurant. Just go to any Asian supermarket to get some instant noodles, it would taste 100% better!

After visited the place, I had never felt such blessed to be Asian that I can always have proper tasted noodles...

I enjoyed the food and affordable prices at youwok and that is why I’ve awarded it two stars. I was, however, surprised at the customer service at the youwok establishment. When I got to the counter I waited two minutes for the cashier to acknowledge my presence. When they did they tell me I have to wait 15 minutes because they had to count the money, which was strange as they had taken orders before me. Alright, I wait. Then people arrive and the cashier takes their order, knowing very well that I was waiting to be able to place my order. Fine. I line up behind them wait for them to to take my order which is when the cashier chooses to tell me that it will have to be take away, something I was not told 30 minutes prior. I have had similar incidents to this at youwok but have also had enjoyable...
