KaraFun Brussel — Restaurant in Brussels

It was my first time there. Loved the concept! Unfortunately the staff is not very friendly or caring. The quality of the sound wasn't good at all, we barely could hear the difference from just singing, but we didn't care, as we came to have fun and to celebrate my friends birthday. But at some point we started hearing people from other rooms, I think there was an interference between microphones. We asked the staff to take a look, as it was very annoying and we barely could hear ourselves. They did check twice and at the end kind of solved the problem, we could still hear the hissing of the microphones, but we let it go as we already lost around 20 min of the time because of the technical issues. After our session I asked the bartender ( curly hair) if he could offer round of shots ( we were 6 people, and we already spend a lot, ordering), as we lost time and we can not stay longer as there another reservation, I understand that no problem. He said yes and then brought me 2 shots. I mean I understand alcohol cost aswell. But my friend paid 100 something eu for 2 hours, in 2 hours period 20 min is a lot of time to lose. We didn't asked for the refund, but the 2 shots was just insulting, then just say NO or offer to refund part of the time. And as I see a lot of comments saying staff is rude, it's not true for everyone but some of them are...

no stars for the sound quality of the mics , you can t even recognise who's singing... so so abominable. like some strange echo-voice... what i think should be all-important for karaoke, the crispness of the voice, nice and clear... good otherwise that one can choose how much volume of it one wants, mixed with the original singer yes, but let the voice be what it is please!! invest in some normal serious mics asap!!!!!!! 5 stars for the decor in the main bar, 2 stars for drinks, a bit more mixology and magic there could be such a relief, 2 stars for food : be original!!! (and vegan preferred), staff was friendly. the inside of the boxes is very strangly dim and darkish, like the space seems smaller then it is... hmmm... so much to improve on!!!! the mics!!! the sound!!! in the end we didn t even use the mics, there seemed no point. just dance and scream and sing together, unleash and destress... still to be able to sing and be heard, i hope...

This is the most fun activity to do in Brussels ! I went multiple times with a date or with friends and it has always been an amazing experience. The rooms are really nice with air conditioning, smoke machine and different lighting. The drinks are really good, they have alcoholic as well as non alcoholic cocktails that’s taste quite nice and are served pretty quickly while you’re in the room box but also at a bar. I also love that they cover any music style! I listen mostly to kpop and emo rock and my friends to Latino and French music and we could all find what we wanted.
