Second time buying too good to go here. Absolutely disappointed, even though the first time was fine. Katsu chicken with fried rice - do u guys know what fried rice actually looks like? Here it’s plain rice mixed with sriracha sauce. Vegetarian roll is an absolute scam, it’s a piece of cucumber covered in old hard rice, and on top of that it’s fried in some old oil, the fried shell is so hard you can’t even punch a chopstick through - which is surprising considering sushi and rice shouldn’t be rock hard. Crunch ebi fry is a misunderstanding, it’s covered in sauce and fried onion to mask the old taste, the tiniest bit of avocado as well. Terrible food. I regularly eat sushi at Akuma, and it’s always delicious. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and the quality is consistently excellent. It’s also a pleasant place where you can try drinks and dishes you wouldn’t usually find in local supermarkets. The staff are genuinely friendly and always busy making sure everyone’s taken care of. The onigiri was fresh, the rice was very good, but the filling was 90% just mayonaise. There were only 2 tiny pieces of salmon in the whole thing. So I dont think it's worth the price, compared to other places where you get a lot more filling for...
