Gök 2 🇹🇷 — Restaurant in Ghent

I came to eat in this restaurant for the first time . We were seated pretty quickly and the service was fast. However, I've eaten a lot of Turkish dishes such as köfte and pide in many places but have not seen such terrible food quality. The köfte's were too dry, undercooked and not well seasoned. For the pide's I must say it wasn't as bad as the köfte but I've eaten way better.

In Gök 2 you have a very pleasant atmosphere when you come in with the piano and all the photographs in the entrance hall. The piano could use some work though, it's sad to see such a beautifull instrument being treated wrongly.

We were seated in the backyard, overall a cozy place but it needs some work! The cracks in the walls should be filled up and the walls themselves must be cleaned! Above our heads you can find an umbrella against rain and sun which was sadly enough also totally covered in dead insects, spider webs, leaf and other debris. Also the trash bins in the backyard shouldn't be seen by the public.

I do certainly hope to return to this place sometime again, it has so much potential to be one of the greatest and most cozy and pleasant restaurant in...

Very disappointed from the way one of the main staff treated me! I was there to order a pizza. And because I have the ISIC International Student Card I had to get officially a free pizza due to the contract between ISIC and this restaurant!

As I very friendly asked the Staff about that and showed the offer information wich is on the website of ISIC and in the ISIC-Application, he said: This offer is finished and we don't have it anymore! So I said, If the offer is not available anymore so it has not to be on the website of ISIC, specially that we pay for the card to get these offers! This is exactly the function of the card!
