Dinner with friends, at the end of a great day spent around these beautiful nations. Special place, very nice internally, with a courtyard where you can eat under a summer blue sky and with various very nice decorations. We ate a tapas appetiser with local products. We continued with 3 second courses: lamb ribs, pork stew and grilled pork served all three with excellent side dishes and in the centre of the table a large portion of chips, as per Belgian tradition that is respected. Excellent beer list, for all tastes. Very good desserts: chocolate mousse with crumble, lemon cake with meringue and a fruit cake. Delicious and plentiful. A great way to finish a great dinner. Came here on a Saturday evening at the recommendation of our hotel front desk. The service and the food were both great. Expect to order your steaks in the french style, bleu, saignant, etc.. mine was a bit overdone but it was still good. My wife had the au poivre and I had the béarnaise. I liked the au poivre better but the steak stood well on its own as well. Frites are served family style in a bowl for the table and there was plenty to be had. The oude gueuze was fantastically sour and cold and refreshing. De Graal was listed on the menu as "ginger" but neither of us tasted any of that. Still a good Belgian beer. Amazing food amazing place and very nice servers. We were a group of 12 we have had reserved in advance. And we also choose our food prior to arrival. Food is great they also have a all you can drink option alcohol free 7.50€ and you can have their fantastic ginger iced tea. I had the vegan yellow curry with basmati rice. It was tasty and full of flaaaavour. Just amazing. I recommend it. I will definitely go back. Prices are ok. Location is ok. Seating is ok. Toilets could be cleaner. Drinks are a bit overpriced.
