Holy Guacamoly St. Pieters Gent — Restaurant in Ghent

I am nearly an expert in burritos.... Had been waiting to give this place a try as there are not much options of Mexican food in Ghent.... very clean and we were served by the griendly owner... new start up business. I agree with the rice not being a proper Mexican rice. This can be easily corrected by the restaurant. We had the chicken and was done well just did not have enough paprika.... the serving was way too much more than expected very generous in filling the burritos. Overall was wonderful! I will be doing house delivery in the future as they are available...

It must be tough being a Mexican food-lover in this part of the world, as I had a hard time finding a decent burrito anywhere in Europe. I was quite chuffed to see this new joint open in Gent, however.

As for the food itself, well it's good, but could use some improvements. The flavours do lack a bit of authenticity, and as mentioned by other reviewers, the rice and chicken is a bit different to what one would expect. But the food itself is decent. Place looks hip...

I had hard shell tacos and burrito bowl, both were tasty and the meat was well seasoned. I ate there every day actually during my 5 days in Gent. The only thing I would change is the portion size of the meat - they're very generous with the veggies but the meat portion is quite small :) also the nachos are processed (from a bag, not homemade)... was a bit disappointing but not a deal breaker.
