The collection itself boasts some rather interesting examples of religious painting, but you don’t really get to enjoy them as the museum’s administration is ridiculously overprotective. Not only you are not allowed to take photos with or without flash (which I can totally understand and accept although I don’t really find necessary), but even visiting the place without a museum staff member is strictly forbidden meaning that you will not have enough time to look closely at the objects and read the labels. After the tour I tried to negotiate for permission to revisit some of the rooms by myself, but they won’t let me do it. Tour guides take you around the museum and part of the cathedral. Tours are available in English. Our tour was slightly rushed so a few rooms we didn't have time to read all the information about the place and purpose of each room.
