The food was basically good. We had the Palak Paneer & Chicken Tikka Masala with Pratha. And also the owner was very friendly. Unfortunately we now both have food poisoning and lying in bed since then.. EDIT AFTER ANSWER OF THE RESTAURANT: this review was to help you how to find out what it might was. Thats why we were so detailed about what we ordered. As we said the owner (or maybe it was not the owner) but the Venezuelan guy was very friendly. We were the Swiss couple he asked from where we were about and always called me Princessa (even this should not be an appropriate way nowdays, but anyways). As we walked out we talked with the chef which was Pakistani and told him even how much we‘d liked the food. It‘s not about the taste of the food, the experience or the price. I think it was something about the quality or hygienic.

Ifti & I are from UK and are on our 6-weeks tour of South America. After visiting various cities in Peru today we came to La Paz and were glad to know there is an Indian/Pakistani restaurant nearby. The restaurant ambience was good. We were greeted by Ahmed then order was taken by Hamza who was very courteous. Restaurant was getting busier infect all tables got filled and some customers were even waiting outside. But despite all this there was no rush in preparing our food and the food was very tasty. Lamb Saag and Daal Makhanni was very good, Tandoori Chapaties were a rather small but tasty. Salad and mint sauce was good too. We ended with a tasty cup of Pakistani Chai (tea). We will be back for more if we stay longer in La Paz.👍🇬🇧😎

We had been traveling in Latin America for 2 weeks and were craving some Indian food. Curry house brought us home. We ordered chicken tikka masala, palak paneer and yellow dal. Food was amazing. They also customized it to our needs. They even delivered food for our flight late at night. One thing to be aware, is food takes time. It is because it is family run and is customized to your order. So, you need to be patient.

To be fair, the food is decent. I went there for a late lunch close to 3 and I was starving. There were 3 tables ahead of me. I ordered and did read on the menu says "the food will take 15-20 mins to be served". What I didn't know was they meant the food will take 15-20mins EACH TABLE. I sat there for 15 mins and I didn't even get the beverage I ordered - a Chia tea. So I asked for it and the tea finally arrived. The food arrived in 40 mins. I ate and was about to pay and leave, then the owner started to tell me that I should have read the menu about the timing, I said I did and I read it again, it didn't say each table. Then the guy kept on raising his voice with me, saying that I should have read the menu. I asked twice to pay so I can get out of there but the guy kept on going and wouldn't stop. Finally some other guest stepped in as they were super annoyed by this quarrel. This is not a restaurant with any hospitality and basic respect...

We ate only at this restaurant for several days in a row. After the first time we didn't feel very well, but we thought it was because of the restaurant we had visited the day before. After our 3rd visit we suffered severe food poisoning that lasted for days. We don't have any intolerances and go out for Indian food very often without having any problems. It must have something to do with the hygiene in the store.

This is NOT a fake comment. The impudence of claiming this shows, that there is no self-reflection regarding the non-compliance with hygiene. It's been two weeks since our visit and I've been thinking for a long time about whether I should even write a comment. But since this was one of the worst cases of food poisoning we've ever had, I decided...
