This is the highest clock tower in the area. It was built on the sight of the old clock tower and the church of St. Peter and St. Paul from 1866 which was burned down in 1992. An elevator takes you more than halfway up to the 75m-high viewing area, saving 222 of the 370 steps. The massive yet still unfinished Franciscan church below is a replacement for an 1866 basilica that was badly damaged during the war.
We originally thought the clock tower close to the Partisan cemetery was the peace tower, but when we got to the top of the actual Peace Tower we saw how wrong we were. The Peace Tower towered above the other clock tower.

Mostar Barış Çanı Kulesi, Bosna-Hersek'in Mostar şehrinde bulunan ve şehri farklı bir açıdan görmek isteyenler için önemli bir yapıdır. Bu kule, Mostar'ın en yüksek yapısı olup, 107,2 metre yüksekliğiyle dikkat çeker. Kulenin 75. metresindeki seyir noktasından, Mostar'ın her tarafının mükemmel manzaralarını izleyebilirsiniz.
Kule, 1999 yılında savaş sırasında zarar gören Aziz Peter ve Aziz Paul Kilisesi'nin yanında yer alır ve 2000 yılında yeniden inşa edilmiştir. Kulenin 45. metresine asansörle çıktıktan sonra, kalan 150 merdiven basamağını çıkarak seyir noktasına ulaşabilirsiniz. Bu yol boyunca Mostar'ın önemli yapılarının hikayelerinin anlatıldığı bilgi levhaları bulunmaktadır.
