The restaurant serves trypical Brazilian local cuisine with many vegan and gluten free dishes. It also added recently the sushi where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine too. Furthermore, u also got the bakery in the front where you can also order so it is a restaurant that serves breakfast to snacks to lunch and dinner. But the best is not the foods but the ambience, it is very outdoor during day time as it feels like you are in a garden with trees around you, but gorgeous during the night with candles around you, feels pretty romantic on a summer night. But when it rains as it is literally in the garden, can’t be a little bad as some outdoor tables that not covered and feel the rains coming in a little. That’s why I have a 4 stars on the ambience but it s really pretty and specially during a non raining day.
I go pretty often as it s next to my house but make sure you reserve before going or go really early or you will not get a table easily specially on a summer weekend!
The place also serves good cocktails and the price is not crazy expensive, it s like R$100-150 depending on what you order.

Read moreI had this restaurant bookmarked for a while to visit. Among arrival I was impressed at the atmosphere being absolutely lovely with several different spaces, and many plants and an overall cool vibe. The servers were nice enough and efficient. The main point and ultimate downside was that the food left alot to be desired. Both me and my boyfriends dishes were totally under-seasoned, lacked herbs, and even basic things like salt. It was one of the blandest dinners i’ve ever had from a restaurant of this caliber. Tasteless chicken and tasteless risotto is a no go. The lemon pasta was also completely under seasoned. Seems they didnt salt their pasta water. I really wanted this place to be good and a place i’d return to, but i probably will...
Read moreI had an extremely pleasant time at Gael. I went at Dinner time with bo reservations and we got to sit in their back patio which has a great atmosphere. The food was really good and tasteful. Both my friend and I ordered risottos – I had the Salmon with Leek risotto and my friend had the Fillet Mignon with mushroom risotto. My dish was delicious, but I would maybe prefer the salmon a little bit less cooked. Either way it was still really good. I also got to try my friend’s dish, and the mushrooms risotto was spectacular, I absolutely loved the taste of it. I definitely recommend it, specially if you are looking to dine in an atmosphere that almost makes you feel like you are not even in the city anymore, but in a...
