Welcome to the place where the waiter wants to fight you. Insane! I highly advice you to avoid this place!

Here's the short story: 1) yes, we took 3 tables for 7 people because you didn't let us to use 1 or even 2 and didn't even explain why, at the beginning (covid situation) 2) your service was unpleasant from the start 3) the restaurant was almost empty 4) we wanted to start from the drinks only but when we heard "This is the restaurant" indignantly, we decided to leave and spend the money in some normal, friendly place 5) your waiter said "yeah, have a nice day" which sound like "get the ... out" 6) when we said "and for you not" he asked "what did you said?!", put down the menu and started to scream "davay! davay!" (come on, come!) and rushed at as to start THE FIGHT. If it's not aggressive for you, I don't want to know what you do with customers who don't like the meal. And yes, we understood also the other words he said to us in other language. And it's all because we didn't want to wish him a nice day after he treated us like that. One of the best places I've been so far in Plovdiv in terms of food and service. Staff is extremely kind and caring, they let you take your time for ordering your drinks and food for n a professional manner. Plates are well designed and chef knows what he's doing. Cool menu. Mostly Bulgarian style dishes with gastro touch. Best part is, it's just outside of the crowded Kapana area so you have a chance to dine without the usual noise and shouting people around you. Pricing is fair based on what they serve. Definitely will go there again at some point and I recommend this place to everyone who's looking for a good dinner and...

Stop by today with my wife at around 3:30 pm as we wanted to have a couple of beers w/o any food. The restaurant was almost empty, but you can still feel cigarette smoke inside. When we told the middle-aged blond waitress that we only want to have a few drinks, she made a bit of a face and said we can, but it's a restaurant, so .... Not a way to get a customer, especially since the place is named "Бирария", which means beer place in Bulgarian, it's empty and they smoke inside...which is by the way, completely illegal in Bulgaria.
