My favorite restaurant in Plovdiv! Along with the amazing cultural and historic sites in this wonderful city, Photo Club really made my visit to Plovdiv memorable. If you want authentic Bulgarian food at a good price with great staff, visit Photo Club.
Radislav and Borislav, two brothers, were my waiters during both visits. On November 21st, Radislav recommended the best rakia I have tasted in the Balkans - Straldjanksa. The Thracian Valley Stew was excellent. The house wine was amazing. And the pork was incredible.
On November 22nd, even with a fully packed restaurant due to the Plovdiv Wine Festival, Radislav created a table out of thin air for me. He and his brother Borislav were very attentive, even with all the other customers. The Shopska salad was delicious. The Thracian Valley Stew was, once again, delectable. And the Tatar Kebab was tasty.
I will visit Photo Club again the next time I am in Plovdiv. ...

If you come on Wednesday you may find a group of Bulgarian musicians (not professionals) singing their songs. The prices are fair. For Italians: qui trovate cibo locale di buona qualità, senza fronzoli, a prezzi bulgari. Viva...
