We just celebrated my Godmother's birthday and Women's Day at a unique venue tucked away in the upper floors of a building housing a museum - not your typical dining setting, but one that promised something special. From the moment we booked our table, the staff demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and remembered us when we returned the next day.
The menu was thoughtfully curated, reminiscent of a Michelin-starred experience - light yet satisfying, perfectly complementing the elegant surroundings. The ambiance itself seemed to echo the colours and sophistication of the art on display, creating a seamless connection between food and environment.
What also elevated our experience, was the service. We were taken care of by incredible professionals who clearly see their work not just as a job, but as an art form. Their expertise, grace, and genuine passion for hospitality made us feel extremely special, as if we were royalty for the evening.
Like characters in a grand painting, we were seated among the frames of Bulgarian classics. The entire evening felt like a scene from a golden age - timeless, elegant,...
Read moreFood - okay. The menu is rather poor. I can't say much about the food quality because I only received 1 thing from my order. Bruschețe. Not the best I've had, not the worst. Mediocre. My main course was forgotten by the staff. According to our waiter, the cheff didn't understand that there was an order. And, obviously, the waiter didn't see fit to bring that to his attention. After waiting nearly one hour for my food and inquiring on its whereabouts, the waiter simply said that it has been forgotten. And asked whether I want to order it again or cancel... No apology, no attempt at improving the customer experience through a compensation or anything. As for the staff, we were served by 3 different people, so it was quite chaotic. At the moment, in the whole restaurant, there were a total of 3 tables occupied. Can't imagine what it's like when it's full. Must be logistics and service nightmare. Suffice to say, we're neither going back there nor...
Read moreThe restaurant is very beautiful and terrace is amazing. We wanted to be inside but apparently the room with the paintings is just an attraction photo. Only terrace is available. Service is very professional. But the food was not really bad. Very disappointed about both starters we took (marinated salmon ans fois gras) and both plates . Too much mayonnaise in the salmon starter and tranches of salmon are so thin that it is almost transparent. Fois gras was slightly better but super sweet because of the sweet orange sauce and pink apple crumble which was impossible to eat. Duck magret I took as a plate was a disaster. Same pink crumble and orange sauce that I had in the starter and in addition very sweet apple pure, duck was super overcooked. The only positive point of the plate was black rice. But the veal plate we tried was not so bad. I wouldn't advice...
