Pot & pan siem reap — Restaurant in Siem Reap

I was last here in 2018 while I was living in Siem Reap for a few months.

This is my first time back in Siem Reap, and I had low hopes of the place still being there after the global meltdown. But much to my surprise and delight, it lives on!

This place is just a short walk down a side road away from the overpriced places in Pub Street. Everything here is at the very least 50% cheaper than Pub Street, and often times cheaper than that.

They offer a good range of local foods, and also the odd burger for those who can't bring themselves to eat local.

The staff are helpful, although their spoken English is pretty limited. So really you are trusting to the photos on the menu more than anything else.

I have been there several times on this visit to Siem Reap, and I am never disappointed with what they serve up. Not to mention that a draught beer is just 50 cents.

This should be a 5stars because as everyone say in the review this place is amazing. The food is nice even though the quantity is a bit too small but still okay! And the best is the staff which is always smiling , making jokes and helpful. We have been eating here 4 nights in a row with my girlfriend and everything was perfect until the 4th night. We ordered 2 draft beers and were close to the guys serving them. We saw him use a half full beer from another customer who just left , fill it up to the top and served it to us. No luck for him we saw it. When he realised we saw it her colleague changed it with a proper draft beer. Wow! First of all- stop reading this review- just come! The menu is vast! You will find anything you are craving!! Draft beers are $.50 cents!! We ordered fish amok, chips and guacamole ( which was actually chips and salsa), and nachos! The fish amok came with two and steamed rice. The nachos came with shredded beef and freshly cooked chips! They were all delicious. We have been in Siem Reap for a month and just found this place. We will be back without question, probably tomorrow lol! You cannot beat the quality, presentation, price, and taste. We really thought because the menu was so big that it had to be average taste… we were wrong! Just found our new favorite place!!
