Went in on 09/29/2023 for lunch for the first time at around 11:45. My boss is the one who actually told me to go check it out for lunch, as its "his favorite soup and sandwich place" and that I "wouldn't be disappointed" so i popped over to Cross Iron Mills to check it out. Upon initial arrival, it was a busy place, with two gentleman manning the counter. The place was clean, and well kept. They seemed very friendly and welcoming to everyone coming up to the counter, and when it was my turn, the gentleman at the cash greeted me and took my order. I was told by my boss to get the "Clubbin" sandwich and the tomato soup. It was about 20$ of so, and when i moved down the line the other gentleman, who goes by the name "Sumit" was very nice, chatted with me, and even let me try a sample of two of the drinks, the Georgia Peach was very nice and smooth, and the watermelon margarita was really refreshing! He was quick with his order, cleaning up as he went, chatting with me as he prepared my meal. I was very impressed. He gave me my order, and told me about trying the other items on the menu that my boss was right and I "wouldn't be disappointed with anything on the menu" as they "use quality ingredients." When i got back to work, I tried the soup first, it was definitely not your typical tomato soup.... its was very rich, creamy, and had the right amount of oil and spices. The roasted red pepper was a nice touch. Then, the sandwich. It was a really nice paring with the tomato soup, and the bread was very light and crispy, the spicy mayo was not too spicy, and the cheddar was melted perfectly sitting in the little sandwich box it came in. I was then told by my boss, that I must DIP the sandwich INTO the tomato soup....Well....that is what made the meal right there....it was perfectly done. So, thank you Sumit for the great customer service (as well as the other gentleman working that day, sorry i didn't catch his name!) the great sandwich, and the great conversation. I...
Read moreAs far as Mall food goes, hard to beat Chachi's in terms of quality. But the crossiron location is uniquely horrendous when it comes to service. Other locations I've been to you can expect a 5-10 minute wait on your food. I'd say this location averages around 15-20, even if it's you and one other customer. With today having to wait a whopping 53 MINUTES after being told it will be "...about 10 minutes". That kind of wait time would be dreadful for sit-down service The staff will often just straight up ignore you--even when they're clearly unoccupied. Ive also had an employee upon asking for a certain sandwich roll their eyes and tell me they were out. Upon asking for other sandwiches they said they were out for those too. When I asked what they could make, the employee said they weren't sure and disappeared into the back for 2 minutes--i obviously left. The food is still up to par with other Chachi's, so I won't give it 1 star, but clearly the staff and very likely their mgmt. are running a completely inept and...

Had the cajun chicken sandwich and it was excellent. Pretty sure it was the owner who took my order and made it - an older Asian uncle type. Bread was toasted just right, cheese was melty and gooey, and the chicken was juicy (not the sad, dry kind you sometimes get at food court outlets). Plus, it was packed so full the chicken was spilling out with every bite. Portion size was generous too, easily good for one hungry person or two less greedy ones.
The mac and cheese could use a bit more depth and seasoning, though… but that’s just me being extra ;)
I loved it so much I went to Chachi’s at another location, but it wasn’t quite the same. Cheese wasn’t melted enough, chicken filling was lighter, and the bread didn’t get that perfect toast. So yeah, this...
