Eclipse is just another aesthetic coffee shop designed to take your money while offering you no real value.

Their "tea latte" menu contains classics like matcha and chai, but also earl grey and London Fog. It doesn't clearly indicate whether a drink can be made both hot and iced, so I asked if they could make an iced earl grey latte since I'd never tried one before. The cashier looked confused and asked another employee if was possible, and this second employee hesitated before saying yes. I offered to order a different drink but they assured me that it was okay.

A third employee who was the one making the drink called out my order, so I went up to the counter. He asked if I wanted him to pour the brewed earl grey tea into a cup full of ice and water, which I was confused by since I had asked for almond milk. He also seemed confused so he started pouring the milk into the cup and asked if it was enough. I was past the point of caring and accepted that I wasted $6 so I said yes and took it to go.

What's incredulous to me is that at no point did any of the three employees think to tell me that an iced earl grey latte doesn't in fact exist, but decided to give me some poorly thought out concoction. I even offered to order something tried and true, but clearly Eclipse is fine with providing subpar drinks if it means taking...

This eclipse location operates as a kiosk inside canmores municipal facilities building. As such there is a large quantity of parking and bike racks available. The selection of goods- retail beans, pastries, and savoury foods- is more austere. The building offers plenty of seating space though it can be a little loud given how big the space is and that many activities are taking place. I got a matcha at the Elevation place location and it was probably one of the worst matches I’ve ever had. The milk was barely tinted green and the strawberry flavor had an incredibly strong aftertaste of fish oil. There was also chunks of power at the bottom of the cup.
