**Updated 2-14-24** Our first stay here was in September 2023. We loved the Canadian Rockies so much that we decided to come back and experience a different season. We chose to stay our week visit here. We booked room 103 again, and we are very happy that we did. Everything was as we remembered it. Our room was clean and comfortable. We love the convenience of the restaurant down the hallway. We ate breakfast and lunch multiple times while we were there. Leo, who works in the restaurant, was awesome. He remembered us from our last visit, and he did everything to ensure that our visit was a great one. The Georgetown Inn is lucky to have him. We were also pleasantly surprised to be treated to homemade truffles from one of the chefs. They were very tasty. We will definitely be back! We stayed here for 3 nights in room 103. I think that there are only two guest rooms on the first floor. We were happy not to be on one of the other floors. The room was very spacious. We had two queen beds with a separate living room area. Both rooms were a nice size as well as the bathroom. The tea set was an added touch that our son loved. We loved the convenience of the pub onsite. We ate all of our dinners here. The restaurant staff was very friendly and polite. We enjoyed our dinners. We loved the steak and chicken pies. The other menu items that we had were very good as well. Breakfast wasn’t our favorite here, but it compares to other places where we had breakfast in Canmore. The theme and decor were very nice. The view of The Three Sisters was nice. The front desk staff wasn’t the friendliest, but they got the job done. Our only serious complaint was the noise from exit door for the building near our room 103, which is near the end of the hallway. At night the door makes a lot of noise when closing. We would definitely stay again.

This is by far one of My new favorite places to stay. Hands down, and here is why; Alex at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. Check-in was super easy! I am in LOVE with the ambiance!!! It is old English pub Glam and beautifully and tastefully decorated with time pieces from the 1900's. The elevator was like riding a super classy time capsule to the second floor where our suite was- and oh Man! Was it ever Sweet! I opened the door to find myself taken back by the gorgeous vaulted ceiling, clawfoot tub, and nearly floor to ceiling window featuring stunning mountain views. You immediately walk-in to a tastefully decorated seating area featuring a fireplace, and writing desk. As you make your way into the room there is a majestic king bed, another large window, again featuring mountain views, and ample storage for your luggage in a closet off to the side of the bed. There is also a modern and clean bathroom featuring a stand up shower and well-lit mirror. I liked the quality of bath/shower and hair products that are supplied, as well as the robes. The property itself is well taken care of and very tidy. On the main level there is a Pub, which we ate brunch at the morning we left. The food was made fresh, the service was impressive and the atmosphere in the pub is very cool. I really loved the real wood burning fireplace and mining artifacts on display. The food was delicious, and reasonably priced. We had a lovely, romantic stay & I highly recommend you pay this place a visit.

Stayed at the Georgetown for our Anniversary, and loved most of our stay. The staff was super friendly and kind, 5 stars for them! And the large soaker tub in the Regency Suite - which was our reason for booking - was so lovely and deep, with a beautiful mountain view. There were just one thing that made our stay not as ideal as it could have been: the TV faced completely away from our bed, and we had no couch. Basically the only way to sit and watch TV was to sit on the straight-back, armless chairs provided, which was less than ideal. If you're not planning on watching TV anyway, the rest of the room was lovely, but if you are hoping to snuggle in bed and watch a romantic movie, this is not the room for you! We also weren't hugely a fan of the food at the Pub (found it a bit bland) but the central location of the Inn meant we had plenty of choices for great food nearby. All-in-all we had a nice time, the staff was lovely, and everything was clean.

We stopped by here for breakfast before we headed back to Calgary. Was a little tough to find but its inside the Inn. No parking lot so street parking only. There were only 3 other tables when we got there including us. We were seated right away and we pretty much ordered pancakes all around. Bacon Berry - These pancakes were great. I could definitely could taste the bacon but there was no bacon. Not to sure but maybe it was cooked in bacon grease to accomplish the bacon flavour. Famous Orange - These were good but lacking the orange flavour. Suppose to be their signature but lacking orange flavour was a bit of a let down. Traditional pancakes - The kids seemed to enjoy them so no complaints from them on those. Decent place for breakfast. Definitely more the pub vibe hence the name. Not sure breakfast would be their highlight. Probably a better place for lunch and dinner.

Spent one night here in a Windsor Room, while it was on the smaller side, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The staff even left us a handwritten card and some cookies to go along with our tea, which was very quaint and charming. I also highly appreciated receiving a text message from the receptionist in the evening, as we had a late check-in and she wanted to make sure we knew how to enter the building and pick up our keys if the desk was closed by the time we arrived. This was in addition to some helpful emails sent days prior with instructions and a list of local events and points of interest. Centrally located right on the main strip, it's conveniently located close to numerous eateries along with the pub on the first floor. Would highly recommend this inn to any visitors traveling in the Canmore/Banff area, we'll certainly stay here again.
