I stayed at Lake Louise Inn for one night in 2021 and dined at Timberwolf. It's been over four years and their alfredo has yet to leave my thoughts. That sauce rewired my brain and connected neurons in ways I never thought possible. I search for Timberwolf's alfredo in every sauce I encounter. I've tried replicating it, I've combed the internet, I'll order a side of alfredo at every restaurant I go to. Yet nothing has come close to what I now consider a mother sauce.
Others want to visit Lake Louise for the beauty and nature. I want to visit Lake Louise for the Timberwolf alfredo.
The flavor profile was complex, rich, yet modest all at the same time. It doesn't cop out and rely on the usual suspects to do the heavy lifting. There's something about it, an ingredient that eludes me.
Even though we're strangers, I feel as if that ingredient and I are kindred spirits, destined to journey life together while simultaneously being unbeknownst to each other. The ingredient and I may cross paths in a busy market, maybe they're waiting in line behind me at the coffee shop, no exchange of pleasantries, no superfluous small talk, only a bond that needs no acknowledgement because its unbridled strength keeps us intertwined with a deeper meaning. I'll keep searching for that meaning, even if I'm never ready to understand it.
But that alfredo is ready.
It's ready for...

I had the pleasure of dining at Timberwolf Pizza & Pasta, and I must say—it exceeded expectations in every way.
🍕 Pizza – The wood-fired chicken pizza was a standout. With its perfectly blistered crust, generous chunks of juicy chicken, fresh basil, and gooey melted cheese, each bite felt like a cozy, flavorful embrace. The sauce had just the right tang and depth to tie everything together beautifully.
🍝 Ravioli – The ravioli was rich and indulgent, enveloped in a creamy sauce with a hint of spice and herbs that balanced the dish impeccably. Fresh, comforting, and satisfying.
🍰 Dessert – We ended the meal with a mini cheesecake topped with vibrant berries and drizzled in a berry coulis. Not only was it plated like a piece of art, but it also delivered on taste—refreshingly tart with just enough sweetness.
🏡 Ambience – The restaurant has a warm, rustic charm with wooden interiors, modern chandeliers, and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that feels like a treat but still lets you unwind.
💧 Service & Presentation – Everything was served with care, from the artisan-style plating to the attentiveness of the staff. It’s clear that quality is a priority here.
Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area—perfect for a relaxed date night, family dinner, or a cozy solo meal with good food...

We arrived around 6pm and were seated quite quickly as there were not many other people there. Our server (from Jasper, forgot her name) was absolutely fantastic. She was warm, friendly, and welcoming. She was also quite energetic. We ordered the Surf & Turf (Christmas Special) and the Penne Lane. We also got the big Spinach Salad and later The Timberwolf Pizza. The Surf & Turf came with a 6oz steak, which was absolutely delicious and cooked a perfect medium-rare (the temperature we requested). It also came with four lobster craws, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Overall a very well balanced and delicious dish. The Penne Lane was exceptional. The pasta was a perfect al dente and the chicken was tender beyond belief. The dish was just a tad creamy and beautiful all around. The Spinach Salad was very very well balanced with strawberries, goat cheese crumbles, walnuts, and some raspberry vinaigrette to top it off. Very delicious. The Timberwolf Pizza was cheesy and delicious, topped off with pesto, mushrooms, ham, and bacon. At the end, we were entirely full and satisfied, so much so that we did not get to try the very tempting apple pie.
Overall 5 stars for food, service, and environment. Would recommend and would...
