The Happy Camper Café & Bar — Restaurant in Banff

I was spending a weekend in Banff a few weeks ago and decided to stop at the Happy Camper Cafe to get some work done after I saw images of their cozy dining room online. I've never been to the Canalta before, but was super impressed by the friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, when I arrived the wifi wasn't working and therefore I wasn't able to get any work done, but the staff were very apologetic and put in a great amount of effort to make sure I was still comfortable and my other needs were being met. I was invited to sit in their dining area inside or sit outside by one of their fireplaces. They even supplied me with a small smores kit to use, how cute is that? Max specifically helped me out by making my coffee, informing me about their lunch menu and all of the different types of craft beers and ciders they supply! Max was super friendly and I was very appreciative that he check in with me every so often to make sure I was comfortable and if I needed anything else. Although I couldn't work on my computer because of the wifi, I was happy to sit and relax with a coffee. I'll definitely be coming back here...

We had an absolute blast here. The Flatbread was amazing, and service from Sam was phenomenal. The happy hour menu is great and the service is fast. The only reason I am giving it a 3 star is because the bar manager I believe her name was Alec, was not very inviting and the few times we went up to order she was far from polite to both the patrons and incredibly dismissive to the staff. All in all, it is highly recommended to grab a nice crafted beer and sit by the fire or hanging out at the bar. It's definitely worth it...
