Betta Jerk — Restaurant in Brampton

So today I spent $78 dollars at the restaurant, I purchased 3 large rice and peas, 11/2lbs jerk chicken , large oxtail , an xl coleslaw and 1 cola champagne.

The 3 containers of rice was filled less than half way, the oxtail also less than half,the coleslaw container was also only filled half way, and they never gave me my drink.

I was so angry when I got home and saw that they completely ripped me off, I had to then go to another restaurant and buy two more rice and peas to make sure my family had food for school and work the next day.

Don't ever buy food from them it's a complete rip off.

Hello again thanks for responding, the reason I didn't reach out privately, is because when I asked your staff for the half tray of rice and peas I normally order instead of the 3 large, it was made clear to me on more than one occasion I need to order the half tray 24 hours ahead, so I asked the women who cashed me if 3 large rice and peas would be enough for 6 people. Thats 4 eating dinner today and 2 left overs for kids lunch. The coleslaw I asked the same person for the biggest size you have and she said XL, so that's where I got it from.

I'm not in anyway trying to be malicious, if you look at some of your orders from skip or your website you will see I have order food aroud 2am for pickup at 1pm on occasion and I always get the same items, but due to your staff telling me no I cant get the half tray of rice and peas I asked would 3 be enough.

Also the oxtail, if you weigh this item by a scale, I completely understand and now I am aware of what a 1lbs of oxtail looks like.

I have ordered in the past years.

1 half tray of rice and peas 11/2 to sometimes 2 lbs of jerk chicken If i order on Thursday I always get the jerk pork And the colslaw in the large

I am very disappointed for the first time in this restaurant. I used to absolutely love coming here and anytime I ordered or went there It was absolutely yummy and delicious always fresh always amazing. Today I ordered a piece of jerk chicken and a bowl of chicken soup and the jerk chicken was so spicy It was completely inedible. I don’t know if they changed their recipe or what they did, but I’ve never had anything in my life that spicy and I love spicy food and I’ve eaten jerk chicken 1000 times including there, and I couldn’t even take a bite out of it. It was just awful 20 minutes later, and my lips are still burning from simply touching the chicken to my lips. I didn’t even take a bite out of it. my chicken soup had no chicken in it All it had was TONS and TONS of chicken bones of all sizes from dangerously tiny to large enough that you would HOPE it was a piece of chicken but NOPE only bones… to be clear, the picture does not even have remotely the number of bones that are in the small soup I actually gave up looking for them because there was just so many. I figured I may as well stop. . It’s very clear that they over cooked the chicken in a pressure cooker until it shredded down and then they just poured it all into the soup after they chopped it all up. It’s actually dangerous to eat that soup. After working in emerge so many years and having so many people come in with fish bones and chicken bone stuck in their throat The number of tiny little pieces of bone in this soup is absolutely not acceptable. I’m very very disappointed. I just paid $60 for food that I 100% cannot eat on a sidenote the pasta salad was nice and my son is enjoying the oxtail. Flavour of the soup is good, but it’s also extremely greasy there’s tons of oil just like sitting on the top of the soup I don’t know maybe they got a new cook or something I don’t know, but I won’t be ordering from there again unfortunately cause I’ve been going...

This place should be shut down !!!! Today I found PLASTIC in my jerk chicken I have the photos. I will be contacting the health department!!! They have no care for their customers I used to order from here multiple times a week. Now I’m disgusted by this place. No food safety measures in place, disregard for ppls health and RUDE employees who either refuse to answer or hang up on you. September 14th 5:45pm

I also tried to place an order extension 5 times which was never answered so if your the boss or owner be aware the employee working this date and time is causing your business not only bad reviews but INCOME. If it was me they’d be fired immediately Theres also TONS of horrible reviews of this place if you scroll down you can see a review where another person mentioned finding HAIR in their food.
