My recent visit to KINTON RAMEN in Brampton left me thoroughly impressed with both the variety and quality of their offerings. I sampled the MISO and Veg Spicy Garlic ramen, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. One of the standout features at KINTON RAMEN is their commitment to catering to vegetarians. With four vegetarian options and the flexibility to customize toppings, the menu provides a welcome variety for those seeking meat-free alternatives. The Veg Spicy Garlic ramen, in particular, was a flavorful delight, showcasing a perfect balance of heat and rich garlic undertones. The MISO ramen at KINTON RAMEN surpassed my expectations. The broth was rich and robust, with a depth of flavor that set it apart from other ramen places in the area. The noodles (with choice of think medium and thick) were cooked to perfection, and the inclusion of customizable toppings allowed me to tailor the dish to my liking. What sets KINTON RAMEN apart is not just the quality of their ramen but also the thoughtfulness in their dessert offerings. The desserts were a pleasant surprise, striking a perfect balance in sweetness(I tried their Mango cheezecake). While not the focal point of the menu, they certainly complemented the savory ramen experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would easily rate KINTON RAMEN a 9 for their MISO ramen. The dedication to flavor and the option for customization elevate the dining experience. As for the desserts, I'd give them a solid 7, marking a commendable effort to provide a sweet ending to a savory meal. In conclusion, KINTON RAMEN in Brampton is a must-try for ramen enthusiasts, especially those with vegetarian preferences. The bold flavors, customizable options, and well-balanced desserts make it a standout dining destination in the area.

I was so happy when I found out that Brampton has finally gotten it's own authentic ramen restaurant that specializes in Japanese ramen. And out of all places, it's KINTON! I'm glad that I don't have to travel far to Scarborough, Markham, Richmond Hill, Toronto etc. or Mississauga to satisfy my ramen cravings. I went for dinner around 6:30 pm during their 'soft opening' (09/17/2023) and I was quite content with my overall dining experience. And for a restaurant that's only been active for about a week, I was genuinely impressed with their customer service. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and energetic. They were also quick, attentive, and checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied with my meal. I ordered their beef brisket ramen (I requested nori and another seasoned egg for an additional fee) and chicken karrage and it was cooked perfectly! The marinade from the seasoned eggs was also packed with flavour and the eggs themselves were not overcooked. Space was limited inside seating wise but that seems to be common with majority of the Kinton locations. My absolute favourite is that there's plenty of free parking which helps to make it more accessible unlike the Mississauga location. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Kind of disappointed, to be honest. I eat ramen a lot, especially at Kinton Ramen (Mississauga location). I was actually happy that they opened a store in Brampton. My family and I visited when it opened and it was fine. But today was totally different. The service was okay, to be honest. They didn’t give us waters when we first sat down and we had to ask for it twice before and after we got our food. Waiters were nice but kind of rushing and were forgetful with some stuff we asked for (water, takeout ramen we had, and, takeout container). We ordered the meal for 4 and had our last ramen to go. The broth didn’t taste as rich (kind of like watered down or tasted so peppery) like the one in other Kinton locations, there was barely a lot of broth in my sister in law’s ramen, I ordered extra pork and they gave me two thin, and tiny pieces of pork while my SIL got one average one and one thin, small one, and lastly, our noodles were kind of overcooked. They didn’t ask if we wanted refills on our drinks throughout the dinner. Even after we paid, we had to remind them about our last ramen order when we were sitting there for a bit. Upon checking our last order (takeout) at home, I was shocked and really upset at how much broth they put in our container. Almost all the locations I ate at Kinton Ramen, whether it was for delivery or dine-in, our broth container would be almost full with broth (and the contents of the ramen itself would be fuller) and ours wasn’t even filled up halfway. I just don’t think my family and I would be going here again.

I visited this ramen shop after seeing a variety of reviews and wanted to experience it myself. With experience at many ramen places, I had some expectations going in. We were seated quickly by the friendly staff, who were attentive throughout our visit. The menu was easy to navigate, and we ordered the Pork Miso and Pork Spicy Garlic ramen. One notable feature is that they don’t mix proteins in their bowls. Each bowl is dedicated to a specific protein, so there’s no cross-contamination between different meats. This is a thoughtful approach, especially in a diverse area like Brampton, where many people have dietary or religious restrictions. The ramen was decent but didn’t exceed expectations. While there were flavors, the broth could use more seasoning to help achieve a distinct taste, and the meat needed more time to absorb those flavors. The complimentary dumplings, part of a promotion, were a nice touch and paired well with the ramen. The washrooms are clean and were stocked with mints and floss, which added a nice touch the dining experience. Overall, the service and quality of ingredients were good, but the broth and seasoning need improvement. It’s a place with potential, but not yet one I’d consider a top choice for ramen.

Food was okay. I got the beef original ramen and the broth tasted super watered down. My previous experience with Kinton Ramen a few years back at the Mississauga location near Square One tasted much better. Portions were great and liked the Takoyaki the most. They had a free gyoza special if you show your presto food which is great! Love that they’re trying to promote public transportation. We went on a weekday evening that seemed a little more busier than usual so I wasen’t expecting super attentive service as there were only 3 staff visible. However, service was non existent. I asked for a fork and my table never got one so it was hard to eat the food for one of us. The server never checked up on us either. Service didn’t seem approachable enough to ask for a fork again because the servers were busy helping out with other tables. But when not helping out with other tables, 2 of the servers were talking with each other. I wanted to ask for the bill but ended up waiting 10m because of this. They didn’t even bother looking around so I couldn’t wave either of them down. Kind of disappointed as I was expecting better food and better service from Kinton Ramen.

I’ve been to many Kinton locations (Canada and US). I can say that the quality of Kinton keeps dropping big time. I still remember when they first opened square one location, my first time to try Kinton. It was delicious. The Japanese chef flew from Japan to open up Kinton. I understand the reality. Especially when Kinton has became a franchise. It’s hard to maintain their quality. I haven’t had Kinton for a year until I heard about this lunch special. $11.99 gives you Donburi and Plain Ramen. I added $3.99 to get 2 tiny pieces of Pork. (Regretting). Kinton (or this location) didn’t do a good job on the soup base. Soup base is the core for a bowl of ramen. It tasted like water, super plain. Texture of the noodle was good. Portion was ok. The soup was very bad. The donburi (rice with meat) was ok. Rice was hot but the meat was cold. Expected. Service was good. Clean environment. Will I go back to Kinton? Very unlikely unless they bring back up the quality. By the way everyone, an authentic Japanese ramen is not like this. Their ramen have been modified to local taste.
