Where do I begin? My cousin and I walked in on Wednesday June 5th at around 3pm to get a couple of whoppers. We ordered two whoppers which I asked to have "fresh off the broiler/well done" to which the cashier said it would take about 4-5 minutes and I said I don't mind waiting. We take a seat and not even 1 minute later a woman by the name of Kayon (don't know if I'm spelling it right) brought our burgers out to which I was surprised because the cashier said it would take at least 4 min. I had a strong feeling it was not well done or fresh off the broiler because of how fast it came out, but I thought I'd take a bite and see if maybe they had a couple well done burgers ready. And unfortunately my assumption was right. Not only were the burgers not well done, they weren't even warm. Just plain cold. I told my cousin I was very upset and he was feeling the same way so he went up to complain for me. He initially let the cashier know that they weren't well done and before she could even apologize, the woman named Kayon started making rude remarks towards my cousin saying things like, "You wanna go in the back and check them? They are well done and you don't know what you're talking about". My cousin and her went back and forth for a couple of seconds and my cousin stormed out of the restaurant in anger. I was still sitting down contemplating what to do as what I just seen wasn't how I thought they'd treat their customers. I went up to the front and asked to speak to the manager and some man by the name of Kumar came to the front and when I explained to him what happened, in a very friendly manner, he just disregarded everything I had said and tried explaining to me that they make 4600 burgers a day and everything's fresh. He flat out wasn't listening to anything I said which was very disappointing. He offered me two apple pies for the trouble to which I declined because 1 we paid for whoppers and two I don't even like their apple pies which I explained to him. I was tired of getting ignored from the manager of all people and the cashier who originally took our order kept apologizing for their behaviour to which I responded that it wasn't her fault and she doesn't need to apologize but it's disappointing that her manager of all people won't even listen to what I'm saying. When Kumar heard what I said he replied in a rude voice "what?" And I had replied "you heard me and it's the truth". He then swore at me and told me to get out of his store to which I told him wait till head office hears about this and he said "good luck" ... this type of behaviour is unacceptable especially after they know they didn't give us what we asked for instead of a simple apology they mock us and insist we don't know what we're talking about. Called the store three times and nobody answered. A friend of mine was picking up something in the same Plaza and I asked her to stop by. Learned that without the receipt they will not give the burger. Why would I be calling with all the information and the missing Burger the time and everything else including the total spent but they wanted the receipt which was by the way not inside the bag?? One lady who seems to be a native *not that it makes a difference the nationality) when i asked to speak with the manager said that they were all managers & right away said she can't do anything about it without the receipt. so I asked to speak to the manager, the girl who took the order. she said everybody's a manager. I spoke to the other girl who had originally taken the order and she asked me to hold she was going to look after it. The first lady went and spoke to her so she came back and said one of the other managers said we need the receipt and wouldn't do anything about it. This is pathetic and awful service. And my friend ordered food for herself and she was going to drop off the burger at my work but they don't care. Do not recommend this store under any circumstances.
