I worked at Holy Shakes for a very short time, and my experience was disappointing from the start. I was put directly into shifts without any training, which left me confused about where things were or how to perform tasks properly. My only coworker, Komal, was extremely rude and uncooperative. Despite being a trainee, I received no guidance or support from her. Instead, she constantly shouted at me in front of customers, which created an uncomfortable and hostile work environment. On more than one occasion, she told me to โshut up and stand in a corner,โ which was both disrespectful and humiliating. I eventually decided to leave because of her behavior, but when I brought it up with the owner, he was dismissive and questioned why I didnโt speak up sooner, suggesting it was my fault for letting her bully me. After leaving, I spoke with a couple of former employees who had worked at other Holy Shakes locations, and they shared similar experiences of a toxic work culture. Unfortunately, it seems this isn't an isolated issue, and I wouldnโt recommend anyone to work here. While I understand that not all Indian-owned businesses are like this, experiences like mine with Komal contribute to the negative reputation some...
ย ย ย Read moreI seen advertisements on instagram about Holy Shakes. One day, I decided to give it a try!
Me and my brother opted for the 20$ deal, it includes 2 mini shakes, 2 burgers, and masala fries.
There was a catch, they only give you regular shakes from chocolate and vanilla. You cannot have oreo, biscoff, and etc unless you pay 4$ extra for each of the shakes.
I paid extra which came up to 28$ plus tax because who wants regular shakes. Now, there is some false advertisement here. I chose the crunch munch burgers which is shown to have cheese on it however they charge extra dollar each for cheese.
Now getting to the point about the taste and food quality. The burgers had up to no taste except for the fact that it was crunchy, it was completely dry and lacks substance.
The masala fries were good however itโs not worth making a trip to the shop.
To all the customers, I would recommend that you only come for the shakes. It was thick, creamy, and cold with much flavour.
In conclusion, only go to holy shakes for the โshakesโ.
I hope this helps all future customers of this fine...
ย ย ย Read moreI have always wondered where to find all the crazy and extravagant milkshakes that has been popping up on Instagram, Yelp, and TikTok. Well, the shakes definitely had to be from Holy Shakes!
The Brampton East location is one of the newer locations in the restaurant chain across Ontario, but the solid quality remains the same for the milkshakes, cakes in a jar, and ice cream.
The staff was very friendly upon my arrival which was nice to see. The offered up great suggestions to the point where I couldn't decide from all the creative options.
I ultimately decided upon the Fudge Brownie Cheesecake Milkshake as why not go big? The milkshake was tasty with lots of richness coming from the chocolate. The cheesecake was fluffy and helped cut down on the sweetness of the shake. The addition toppings with the chocolate syrup and nuts on the rim were a nice touch.
Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and I can't wait for...
