I went to CAA... Came out and was hungry, thought I'd give it a try. Ordered the Huge Ground Beef Burrito. It tasted alright, definately needs more flavour. It is very mild and I asked for extra burrito sauce!
Only one scoop of beef.... The first thing when you start eating is... It's alright. Needs more flavour... All you can think of from start to finish is "where's the beef!" It could also use way more bean!! If you're only going to put one scoops of beef, at least put a good layer of bean. Beans can be bought super cheap! Dried. Soak overnight, pressure cook and you're done. Astronomically cheaper than iceberg lettuce.
Mostly filled with other vegetarian things... Noodles, rice, iceberg lettuce, tomato, cheese... Etc. It's mostly carbs... If you're on a high carb diet. It's not a bad choice... If you want protein rich... You're better off getting a double quarter pounder, or a quad Big Mac. And your still save a few bucks.
$16 for one scoop of groud beef is pushing it... Taco Bell has more beefiness to their burrito based on ratio size. Flavour, definately needs flavour... It's fairly flat. Spices can be bought cheap. Cumin can go a long way as it's a strong spice. Please spare a few extra cents in...
Read moreI had been at this location a few weeks ago and thought the shrimp burrito I ordered made a great snack. Filled me up and proved to be pretty tasty. Having experienced that satisfying tasty treat, I raved about it to my two kids who always tend to call on the very same sandwich when we are out for an extended period of time.
Last night, when their stomachs started to grumble after training I suggested going to Fast Bastard’s. Oouf, what a name, I couldn’t even say why it’s called as such to my two and neither could Ragit who was on hand yesterday evening. I thought perhaps because of the size the burrito grows to once all the fillings are put together or maybe how you feel after woofing one of those sandwiches down! In any case, my two kids decided to forego their normal go to and they were not disappointed. Ragit was very hospitable toward especially my daughter who had many questions about which combination of good items would make the best burrito. Ragit enthusiastically guided her toward a satisfying choice. My lil fella followed suit. They were both very happy and had a great fill and a nice change from...
Read moreI’ve been a Fat Bastard goer for a few years now and i was really excited about this location opening because it was really close to home but my recent experience was not a pleasant one. The restaurant was completely empty when i arrived. There was two employees behind the counter making what looked like a burrito of their own and I requested to have a lil burrito made and when i received it after it was “done”, I opened it and it was partly opened. I went back in and the employee told me that because i asked for extra toppings (noodles and tomato’s) the burrito wouldn’t close. I explained that I’ve never had this happen before as i always go to the heartland location and she said she’ll make me another one which turned out like the first one she made me. I’ll definitely be returning to the heartland location and have zero desires on returning to the Brampton location. All it requires is a little more effort to get the job done and if an employee can’t wrap a lil burrito then there’s a problem, it’s a...
