Disappointing Experience at Cora's (Queen and Airport Location)
I visited Cora's (Queen and Airport location) with my son to celebrate his successful school year. As a parent of an autistic child, I chose Cora's because I've had positive experiences at other locations. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing.
We waited for over half an hour before our order was taken, despite being moved from a small cubicle to a larger table. Even after placing our order, no water was provided, and our drinks (apple juice for my son and hot chocolate for me) never arrived. Meanwhile, another table of eight young adults, served by the same server, received prompt attention, including drinks and water immediately after ordering.
It was frustrating to sit there with my thirsty child, watching another table receive stellar service while we were neglected. When I finally went to the front to pay out of sheer frustration, I was told to wait for my hot chocolate—after an hour of being overlooked. My son never even got a drop of water.
This location seems unable to handle high traffic effectively or fairly, and the disparity in service was disheartening. Cora's has been a go-to for me in the past, but this experience makes me hesitant to return to this location.
I sincerely hope management addresses these issues and ensures that all customers, especially those with children, are treated with the respect and care...
Read moreRidiculous service first time walking in this location I would honestly give a 0 star if I could I went in with my wife we waited half an hour to even get seated when it was not even busy. There was a lot of empty tables and then finally after getting seated we waited and waited for at least a menu and instead of making sure customers can order they are more busy making sure each table that gets emptied they clean it out and even though they saw me and my wife they sitting in an empty table with no menu the waiters didn’t even care to acknowledge us to see if we at least needed a glass of water or a menu at least something. I would not recommend this location at all as the customer service is garbage the management skills is very unorganized Im not sure there was an employer working there with no uniform but seem like it could of been the owner and honestly they did not even care to make sure customer services is his priority which should of been his main priority everyone looks lost working here and even people leaving kept saying they had to wait an hour just to receive their food even though I thought the reviews of this place was over exaggerated in regards to waiting for your food for an hour but a lot of customers leaving kept stating this to me and my wife as they were leaving. Read moreFood is good, BUT the Asian (I didn't get her name) waitress is EXTREMELY RUDE and hostile!! This is the second time she's been rude, the first time was with my mother, but this time it was with me. Never in all my life have I ever been scolded by a server for NOT eating some part of my meal. First off she is EXTREMELY hyper, especially when taking your order which made me feel rushed. What I ordered came with cottage cheese, and I did not know I could have ordered this dish without it, so I just left it and did not eat it, well apparently that upset her and she loudly scolded me in front of my family saying "WHY YOU NO EAT THIS? WHY DID YOU ORDER THIS IF YOU NOT GOING TO EAT THIS?!" and I simply stated "I didn't like it," because she caught me completely off guard at 10 am in the morning. She then proceeds to tells me I SHOULD have ordered something else that wasn't even on the menu. She expected me to know what she was talking about, like I have the menu memorized, except the item she was talking about wasn't even there when I checked!!!!
