The service and atmosphere was nice, The beers were well priced, The food was really the only issue. To say that this was pub, food is stretching it, I ordered nachos, wings and a chicken burger. The wings were tiny, overcooked, very little meat on them, extremely disappointed. The nachos, The top layer had some cheese, but 90% of the dish was me dipping dry chips into salsa. The $3 guacamole add was terrible In flavor and portion size, assuming it was squeezed out of a tube, I managed 6 moderate dips before it was exhausted. The chicken burger actually was pretty good, I was surprised, and if I did happen to return it would likely be the food I would order just because It at least was satisfying. I watched four other orders of nachos come out and all appeared to be approximately the same subpar quality. Do yourself a favor and go for cheap drinks and go anywhere else for food

First time visiting this neighbourhood pub. We went during happy hour & I ordered the Tatziki & Pita. Tatziki was super fresh & the Pita is house made, so fluffy & crispy on the outside! I'll definitely order again next time, M bf got the spaghetini & the meat sauce tasted like a hearty homemade sauce. Much more appealing than the BP nearby. Very casual & quiet during the day but service is great, the workers have the vibe of actually wanting to be there & very welcoming to customers. Great place to visit if you want no frills & just good food & a drink. I'll have to try other things on the menu next time!

All right so the waitress was a bunch of fun. Kind, caring and awesomeness and also the food and accessories on top of drinks was phenomenal. I am actually super im pressed with this restaurant let alone it by being called a pub. It is so fun, loving and giving that you won't even feel like any stress is there because awesomeness all I felt that night. I just wanted to say that. Naomi is one hell of a waitress and you should always ask for her and be sure to give her a glorious tip because she will be true and fair and treat you with respect of course!

Ok, before I say anything about this place. I need to seriously warn you about driving here. It's pretty easy to miss the entrance if your driving here in the dark. Another issue, would be the gigantic pot hole in the parking lot. It would not be a fun time if your car drove close to it.

Now putting that all aside.

This is a great place to grab pub food and to catch a game. When you initially arrive, don't be surprised if noone greets you, your more then welcome to find your own seat. The servers here are pretty attentive and will check on you every few minutes. A definite plus to any busy pub.

Initially, I was supposed to meet my friend here before we caught a movie out in New Westminister. To kill time, we watched the Canucks game. I must say, I am pretty impressed with the set up. Seems like everywhere you turn, there is a TV for you to stare at.

The food here is also some of the best pub food I have even eaten. I ordered the smokehouse burger, it was nice and freshly made. The burger patty was kinda small, but the fresh veggies, crunchy bacon, and nicely toasted bun; made up for it. What was even better were the beer battered fries (nice and crispy on the outside, soft inside) which were seasoned nicely.

I also ordered waffle fries having been throughly impressed with the beer battered fries, granted they weren't as good as the beer battered ones. However, it was a good amount of fries considering it only cost $5. The aioli wasn't something I was impressed on either, as it mostly tasted like mayonnaise. I say, stick with the beer battered ones, you won't be disappointed.

Overall, if I'm ever in the area again. I'd definitely pay this...

APRIL UPDATE: We gave it another shot. The new manager and the new kitchen staff really seem to be turning it around. The servers still seem to be there which is a REALLY big thing. The food had improved to put it above your other choices in New West again so it is definitely heading in the right direction. Updating the stars from 3 (OK) to 4 (VERY GOOD). Still not the 5 star I think it diesrved the past couple of years but definitely getting back on its game. Thanks!

ORIGINAL POST: This used to be the go to place for consistent quality food at any time of day. Sometime in February (2018) something changed. A sign on the door would advise that the kitchen was closing early around 8. The quality of the food went from something well beyond pub food to way below par. A bunch of us were regulars and tried it again several times before deciding it was a waste of time, at least for now. Along with many friends I sure hope they can work though this. The Teminal Pub was a really great place with some really great, friendly staff. It leaves a big void in New West (with no one out there currently even close to being able...

I don't think we'll be going back. My husband and I have gone to the terminal a few times over the years. The food is usually good, but the service has continued to decline. Tonight we arrived at 5:15 and the place was not busy. We had to wait 9 mins for anyone to even acknowledge us. A server walked by and said she would bring menus right over (we were just about ready to walk out at that point). Another minute later she comes by and asks if anyone has helped us yet and gives us menus. After ordering, we had to wait 25 minutes for our food, and when the good was brought out we were missing a garlic toast and side of dressing. The server explained that the dressing was made in house and they were making more and that garlic breadwas on its way. Ten minutes later we get the garlic bread and then another 5 for the dressing.

As usual, the food was good, but to have to wait 9 minutes to be acknowledged when obviously not busy...
