Came here due to a friend hearing about it online. Said it was a great place for KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and boy was he right. It didn't have the greasy aftertaste that fried chicken usually leaves behind. It was lightly coated and crispy with the inside being juicy and tender. We ordered the half and half (Sweet & Spicy, and the Honey Garlic), we also ordered the Nadri's Galbi Tang (3 large beef ribs in beef soup) each and it was so good. I especially liked the sweet wasabi sauce that came with it. It complemented the meat nicely.
Me and my friend usually go to Damson downtown Vancouver, but they have since closed down the location me and my friend frequented. We always either ordered the all you can eat pork belly or the usual Gam Ja Tang. However, since our usual place doesn't exist anymore we were on the lookout for a new Korean spot, and what better place then Korea Town 😅.
I'd definitely recommend this place if your looking for delicious, authentic Korean food. The place at first might seem out of place, as it's in a "food court" type setting; but the only seating there is for Nadri or the bakery just right next to them. If you have trouble finding this place like me and my friend had at first. It's at the bottom of the complex, to the very right side.
Overall me and my friend were fully stuffed, and said we'd come back to try more of the delicious food. Not only do you get large portions here, but you get twice the food at half the cost as what you'd get in Vancouver 😅
I can't wait to taste all of the KFC flavors, plus the spicy Gam Ja Tang, I'm also interested in the dumplings; which they say is handmade, but that'll have to what I til the next...

We visited around 2 PM, fully aware that this restaurant stays open straight through from lunch to dinner, as many Korean restaurants do. However, upon entering, we were told by the staff that we would need to wait about 20 minutes because they had just started eating. All of them. At the same time.
It’s completely understandable that staff need a meal break, but having every staff member take a break simultaneously during operating hours, while turning customers away, is simply poor management. A basic rotating break schedule would easily solve this. If that’s not possible, then the restaurant should clearly state a break time on Google or post a visible notice. Otherwise, it gives the impression that customer experience is not a priority.
After we were seated, there was no table check not even once. And during payment, the staff member stared directly at the card machine to see the tip amount without making eye contact or saying anything. That kind of behavior comes across as careless and disrespectful, especially when paired with otherwise minimal service.
Overall, the food itself was enjoyable, which makes the poor service all the more disappointing. With better attention to hospitality, this could be a much more satisfying...

I wandered in with two friends on a Friday night after a long study session at a nearby cafe, and was immediately greeted by the friendly server and incredible aroma of korean fried chicken. The restaurant was already busy but we managed to snag a table.
We ordered the half and half fried chicken which came with their original chicken, our choice of sweet and spicy chicken, and a side of white radish. When our food arrived, our expectations were blown out of the water. The original chicken had a perfect crunch to every bite and was packed with juicy chicken. The sweet and spicy chicken had the same crunch with a good amount of heat and sweetness to balance it out.
I stopped by the next day because I had to try their dumplings. I had ordered their half and half dumpings which came with 4 pieces of pork dumplings and 4 pieces of their kimchi dumplings. The dumplings reminded me of how my friend's mom made her dumplings. They make you feel at home. Both the pork and the kimchi dumplings are wrapped in a soft wrapper steamed perfectly. The pork dumpling is packed with a good ratio of meat to veggies and the kimchi dumpling is a flavor bomb.
Don't pass up on this hidden gem! This place is perfect for groups or a...
