Quality has gone way down hill. Will not be going back.

For years we would buy two boxes of cinnamon buns at the west entrance Cinnzeo every visit to the mall. They always had a deal where the second box was only a couple bucks more. The buns were always fresh and tasty.

Our last two purchases were bad experiences. The buns are flat now, maybe half the height they used to be. They are tough and chewy, not fluffy. My daughter who loves cinnamon buns says they taste like cardboard now. My wife picked up a large rectangular box thinking she was buying a 15-pack. After we got home and opened the box there were only 9 buns, with a big empty space where the other six buns should be. And the buns were literally about 1” thick, so flat and heavy. See the photos and judge for yourself.

They no longer have the two dollars for the second box deal. And the boxes are clearly lower quality now with just simple two color printing, a sign of the drop in quality.

We see the Cinnzeo web site shows the same owner runs several locations. Perhaps we will try one from a different owner, or we will be looking for a...

I recently bought the double pack deal as I usually do. Reading the previous review the box used to contain 15 instead of 9 - I don't recall but it did seem smaller.

Next, I was shocked when it was almost $45!!! After I complained, the cashier "accidentally forgot" to give me the $5 off. However, I recall two packs previously costing under $30. I get it, things are just more expensive now.

BUT worst part is that the quality has really degraded. First, I never get extra icing since I don't like things too sweet. But now the buns have the thinnest layer and you can barely taste it (refer to my picture). Also the dough isn't as fluffy as they used to be. I usually warm it a little in the microwave and it tastes like it's straight out of the oven. This time, it was dense? Hard to explain but it was off.

Anyway, really disappointed. I used to love getting...

STALE FOOD!. i loved cinnzeo but after my experience here it’ll be the last time buying anything from these stores. and weird how it seems that certain group of people are suddenly taking over food establishments, the very same people with little or no regard for sanitation, they love playing victims of discrimination yet they talk to you like you’re inferior. they are liars and cheaters. i asked if the rolls were fresh and was promised they were from today but when i got home they were a day old HARD!. then i noticed the honest reviews and then the fake ones. like how all of a sudden they got all fake 5 star reviews and all from one group of people?! these people have no integrity and only knows how to scam. DO NOT BUY OR EAT ANYTHING FROM...

Bought one regular cinnamon roll and one container of the mini ones for my daughter. These have to be the WORST cinnamon rolls we have ever had, my 5 year old daughter didn’t even want to eat it and spat it out. Extremely hard and dry, and doesn’t even have enough cinnamon in it. The frosting was also really hard and crusted inside of the container they gave us. And the frosting on the cinnamon roll was basically like some thin frothy milk and not a frosting. It’s like the food has been sitting out for days. I would avoid going here. Absolute waste of money. There was also a worker behind the counter leaning and playing on his phone the entire time. A very disconnected and unwelcoming atmosphere - low customer service.
