The most BLAND and DILUTED bubble tea I ever had. I have tried very bad bubble tea before at other places, but this place is the worst. Lesson learned: if they look like they don't know how to make bubble tea, DON'T go there. The bubble tea I ordered tasted just like TAP WATER, had NO MILK flavor in it (despite ordering a milk tea), and NO SUGAR (despite asking for 100% sugar). The pearls were good, however, it tasted like tapioca in tap water. I was so disgusted with this drink that I just had 3 sips and dumped the rest of it in the garbage, THAT'S how bad it was. I would NOT recommend anyone going here, unless you like burning cash. I understand this place is a franchise, so not all Gong Cha is bad I'm sure, but this PARTICULAR location rips you off on the ingredients. As for the positive reviews, I am almost certain those are people who do not know what REAL bubble tea taste like or they are fake reviews. I have been going here for Bubble Tea now for a little over a year. Drinks are always spot on and very consistent! I’m personally in sales for a living, have owned my own businesses and have always done something around customer service. BK is an employee here, BK is always working 98% of the time my wife and I go here. BK I’m sure sees thousands of people a week, but he knows our drinks of choice and has memorized them. It’s very impressive to say the least. Before we get to the cash, he basically already has everything punched in and ready to go. Our drinks of choice have multiple modifications to them, not an easy thing to remember with the amount of people he must serve day to day. Normally I don’t give reviews on a particular employee, as a business is a team effort. But this man deserves recognition for his hard work, dedication and customer service. He treats people like humans and goes above and beyond in my eyes. I am always beyond impressed with his customer service and every other employees customer service. This Hybrid Taiwani/Korean Franchise is ripping off poor Calgarians.

Yesterday, They charged us 26.75 Dollars for 4-drinks; even changed separate for Bubbles (pearl) 1.5bucks. I will upload my receipts aswell. Is 27 dollars fair for 4 glass of flavoured water???

Rates need to be revised or we should boycott them.

In this bad economy who can afford this??. I was always a big supporter of shop-local but if rip-off will be the norm then cheaper solutions is to buy pearls from amazon and add them in any sugary drink which will may cost you between 50cent to a buck at home. 1kg pearl on amazon cost 26bucks, which can last for 6months.

Moreover on this location, employees don’t follow COVID-19 protocols 1- use same towel to clean mugs before serving 2- saw one server washing measuring cups with bare hands.
