Overall, I thought the the service was very good. The place is accessible for wheeled users as there is a elevator. The service is also quick even though there a lot of people. However, I ordered a Pearl Roasted Milk Tea and asked for no sugar. I knew it was going to be more bitter, but I do like the taste of roasted stuff (e.g., roasted nori). However, for some reason, the cashier looked at her colleague weirded out about my order, and I could not tell if they were worried about me having dietary restrictions or they thought I was weird for ordering something that is bitter. I wish they would have explained it to me better why they thought it was weird instead of repeatedly asking me if I wanted no sugar and then pausing as they looked into each other. For example, that if the 0% sugar option actually has a bit of sugar in it, or perhaps the pearl. It felt awkward, as there was a line behind me, so I switched it to a 30% sugar just to make it easier (I am not diabetic so I can do this). Another thing is I was on a knee scooter, and at one point I had to use the bench to put the weight of my hand on it. I pressed to hard on the cushion of the sofa and I felt a pick of a sharp object under the sofa, of what seemed like (hopefully just a) nail. I had a small wound and they gave me band-aids after I washed my hands. Overall, accessible, good experience, good bubble tea...

Update: They seems to have seen this review and improved a lot! Staffs are all friendly and really prioritize the mobile app orders! Appreciate the efforts! And shout out to Minami for remembering my drinks and being friendly all the time!

I always love the drinks from coco, and I'm a regular here. Everything is great except I think if they can improve one thing it'll be even better. Almost every night near closing time, they are super busy, but I rarely see them scheduled more labor to help. And they always encourage customer using app to order to skip the line, so I always order online, but my orders always proceed after I got to the store and let the staff know that I'm here, then what is the point I order through the app first? I think if they can do their best to prioritize the orders from the app that will be better and if the company can schedule one more labor during this time will be even better! Overall it's...

I deleted my previous review so I could share a fresh one — Google only lets you post once, and I wanted to reflect my most recent visit!

Big shoutout to Steffi and Jun for making tonight’s visit to CoCo downtown such a great experience. Steffi’s back on the night shift, and it was awesome catching her again. Both she and Jun were super friendly, efficient, and made sure our drinks were spot on.

Of course, I went with my usual — strawberry slush with white pearls — and, like always, it was perfectly made. Refreshing, full of flavor, and just the right texture.

Props also to Chy and Percy, who were working alongside and helped keep things moving smoothly. And a special mention to Janice and Archer, who made all my past visits amazing — this team really is the reason CoCo downtown is my go-to bubble tea spot.

Consistently great drinks and even better service....

A 3.5 overall. In the area where 4 other main (big chain) bbt places are, it would rank 3rd. Although the interior is really nice (was previously vic's hk cafe), menu diverse and different enough from the others with their offerings...the milk tea isnt strong flavoured enough, wasn't asked or informed about ice and sugar level and they really try to push you for tapioca in each of your order. The picture vs outcome of drink was also a tad deceiving. With that being said, its not a bad place to go to as a chain bbt, it just isnt too unique or strong flavoured as one would like. The service was very quick though and pricing is relatable to other places too.

I had a mango smoothie that was half sweet and it was still way too sweet. It also lacked a natural mango fruit taste. I am directly comparing it to Purr Tea. I have since found out that the specialty here is really their milk tea drinks so maybe I will have to come back and try one of those instead? The actual interior is quite cute. It is bright and open so you can look down on the main street below. The sticky notes with hand drawn pictures and statements gives this place a certain unique flair. The self-ordering terminal wasn't functioning either. It is not a bad place. It has its pros and cons so I would rank it as average.

Try CoCo @ Chinatown and it’s not disappointing. Very busy location customer constantly come and go. Loving their brown sugar series every time must order. Their brown sugar boba is very chewy and can taste is make fresh daily. Recommend try their mango dream as well if you are indulging some fruit flavour. Well priced average 6-9$ per cup. Lots of younger people meeting here and lots Asians of course. Located on second floor and with lots of seating available compare to other CoCo location this one really good for sit down and enjoy the bubble tea and the view of Chinatown.
