This place has one of the most unique locations for a coffee place ever! It's situated underground with the windows peeking above street level. You need to take an elevator to the basement to reach it, but it's entirely worth it.
Inside the ambiance is relaxed. The seating is simple yet comfortable. They have quite a few tables for those busy days as well.
The gentleman at the counter was polite and friendly. He offered for me to sit while I wait for my drink. Did I mention they have a killer Americano?
For those looking for a place to set up your laptop and work, this place will fit your needs. While the tables are circular and not particularly the best for a workplace, the comfort will more than suffice. I didn't take note as to whether there were any outlets available though
If you love obscure but quality coffee shops, this place is quite the...
Read moreI went when they opened so they werenât as prepared as I thought they would be and they didnât have some of the items on the menu but regardless I still enjoyed my experience here. There was a very calm environment and the service was really nice. I got the hot chocolate and the butter toast. Simple items so nothing insanely crazy about them but still good. I also tried the condensed milk and butter toast which was surprisingly good because the combination sounds odd at first. My friend got the vanilla latte and she liked it because it wasnât overly sweet and had a nice hint of vanilla. The only thing that caught me of guard was the price of the butter toast (~4.75) because itâs such a simple item. I would like to go again and try one of their sweets. Also when I went, the elevator wasnât working but you could knock on the door so they...
Read moreIâm sharing this secret spot with everyone here. This is an amazing family-run Coffee house with delicious southern Chinese pastries. I have been here five times to spend my afternoon work and chill. They have some sets of outlets near seats, so it was convenient for me to work on my laptop, as long as I can take the couch seats.
The location of this place is a little tricky: you have to get in the building at first, then walk downstairs and take turns.
Although this place hides in a secret spot downstairs, it serves a variety of people. I have seen working people having their business group meetings down here, as long as old Chinese grandmas enjoying their pastries and drinks.
I am glad that this coffeehouse provided me a friendly environment to chill, study and work, and I hope more people can...
