Ordered on Uber Eats. Hands down the most inauthentic and worst Thai food I've had.
The massaman curry had no spices in it. It was also basically white in colour--just a (too) thick coconut sauce with some red dots, rather than a reddish curry. This was probably the furthest thing you can get from a Thai-style curry. Pineapple fried rice had practically no pineapples in it, and tasted like tossing some rice with soy sauce at home. The fried fish was so overdone it was like a burnt cracker at points. Barely any edible flesh, just oily hardness. Thai milk tea had absolutely no spices in it, as well as no tea fragrance; it just tasted like sweetened milk with food colouring
The only redeeming dishes--with their own problems--are: The shrimp salad was good, and I finally saw some spices in there. However, it had zero spiciness despite being marked as double spicy. The sweet and sour sauce for the fish was good. However, this was somehow quite spicy, despite nowhere stating that it was.
Overall I have no clue how this restaurant got so many great reviews with this quality of food and the complete lack of spices in nearly every dish. Would not recommend and would...
Read moreI am a Pad Thai lover and always try to find a good one. Unfortunately, this is not a place where I found it. Let's start with good points: -very friendly lady that took the order -nice design and atmosphere.
Disappointments: I ordered vegetable Pad Thai with tofu, and I got ZERO veggies there. Rice Noodles with a few pieces of tofu (which I left on the plate as it wasn't good at all, too deep fried and oily, not tasty). So, bassicly almost $20 just for rice noodles with souce (the were sprouts and just a few pieces of chive) 😟 Even though the design was nice, the smell of sewage, when I was there, was very strong. Couldn't really enjoy.
Left very frustrated.
Thank you for you response. I think you are talking about another customer. I ordered the veggie pad thai with tofu (this is exactly what I asked) , and I was charged $18.95 even though on your menu it was $17.95. I didn't want to bring this up on the review as the lady appologized and said that it was a mistake in the system, and offered $1 refund. I did ate all noodles, but all tofu was left...
Read moreIncredible food and service at Thai Bistro – Authentic Thai Cuisine! We had an outstanding dining experience at Thai Bistro – Authentic Thai Cuisine. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The green chicken curry was rich, creamy, and beautifully spiced. The pad Thai with beef had a perfect mix of savory and sweet, with tender beef and fresh noodles.
The Thai ton yum hot pot with seafood was a highlight—packed with fresh shrimp, squid, and mussels in a flavorful, spicy broth. We also loved the snack platter with crispy spring rolls and perfectly pan-fried pot stickers—great textures and taste.
Drinks were just as impressive: the coconut milkshake was smooth and refreshing, the Thai milk tea had that classic sweet and bold flavor, and the mango milkshake was fruity and creamy—absolutely delicious.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Highly recommend Thai Bistro if you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Thai food. We’ll definitely be...
