We got three cheese burgers (two patties); One large fries and one large drink; with 10% tip comes to $46. Burgers are big and filling; you can choose as many toppings as you want, which is great but be careful too many will make it soggy. Freshly prepared that’s why ten to 15 minutes wait time. We got Cajun fries, our favourite. Staff made a mistake and gave us regular fries but then they readily made Cajun for us. Fries come in glass which I think should be in a box. We asked no mushrooms in one burger but all three had them.. minor. Place was little messy, could be due to people bringing snow and mud with their shoes. Place is little noisy, I heard kitchen staff talking or announcing loudly while preparing food. We also got milk shake, again third mistake; got different but staff gave immediately the one we asked. Seems like to me under staffed because we had to ask to get table clean, which was also done right away. Busy place but spacious. Overall staff very friendly and efficient. If you want fresh and good quality cheep and big burger, this is place to go.. Enjoy 😊

Deerfoot Meadows location: I had the bacon burger and large fries. The burger was so, so. Just ok, nothing special. Bun was small so the toppings on the burger go all over your hands while eating, making for a slimy meal. Fries were way over seasoned and nothing that special. For a twenty dollar meal, a fail. No Strict safety measures here, as advertised. They didn’t Covid card me to eat inside, which they are required to do by law. A major fail. The restaurant was very, very dirty. Most of the tables needed a good wipe down and seats were full of crumbs. Another fail. Place was empty and not busy at 245pm. So they could have cleaned up. For a twenty dollar meal, they failed. No warm and fuzzy greeting when I walked in or left. A fail. I guess they don’t like returning customers. I will never be Back here. Bye, bye.

Took the family to Five Guys for dinner as the kids all requested a spot for burgers. Great customer service and very attentive staff to cleaning tables and getting orders out. Self service complimentary peanuts, and a very clean, bright atmosphere. Burgers were good, but not great...for those who can’t eat beef, there are veggie options, but no chicken options. Fries were tasty and crispy, unlimited refills for drinks make it a good spot for thirsty kids! Only reason I gave it 3 stars is that the burgers weren’t anything special and it was fairly pricy based on that. If you are craving a burger that is not MacDonalds, I would definitely recommend.

The Worst Place to Have Burgers – Ever!

We tried Five Guys once about three years ago and weren’t impressed. But recently, a few friends recommended it as their favorite burger place, so we decided to give it another chance.

Biggest mistake of the week.

Fries 🍟 These were honestly the worst fries we've ever had. We dined in, yet the fries were soggy, limp, and lacked seasoning. How is it possible to mess up fries this badly even without delivery involved? On top of that, why does Five Guys put half the fries in a tiny cup and just dump the rest in the bag? Is it too much to ask for a proper container?

Burger 🍔 I asked the staff for a recommendation on toppings, and they just said, “all.” The result? A disgustingly oversized burger that completely fell apart. It was impossible to eat. The bun was soggy almost immediately because they wrap the burger in plain foil—not even proper burger foil like most places use. I genuinely don’t understand how anyone orders this for delivery when it’s already inedible fresh.

And let’s talk dine-in experience—there are no trays. Everything is handed to you in a paper bag like it’s takeout. When I tried to pull my burger out, the foil tore and the whole thing collapsed. The only thing holding the layers together was that thin foil, and once that was gone, it was game over.

We’ve never had such a terrible burger experience. We threw away over 75% of our meal and genuinely regretted not walking one minute further to Fatburger.

And the price? Two burgers, one regular fries, and one drink came out to nearly $40. If the food had been great, fine—but it was terrible. Nothing about this experience was worth that price.

For comparison: Fatburger serves large, layered burgers too—but they hold together. Even Burger King’s biggest burgers are more manageable than this mess, and they don’t rely on wrapping to keep the burger intact.

Bottom line: GO TO FATBURGER INSTEAD. Better taste, better structure, better service, better...

I have to give location 5 Stars.

Things I absolutely loved:

Service - when I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by Melany (who took my order). She was very pleasant and when I asked her a product knowledge question; she admitted she was not sure and without hesitation she asked a colleague for the answer. Something else that was I nice surprise, before taking my order...she washed her hands right in front of me. 😃

Food - When my order came out, it was perfect. Exactly as I had ordered. The quality of the food was almost as though I cooked it myself at home. (They do have a gluten free option as well 👍). I ordered a medium sized fries, and in the bag was enough spill over of fries it literally filled my medium fried cup full again.

Atmosphere & Cleanliness:

The restaurant is well lit with large windows of Natural light. A nice relaxing place.

Now if I could give it an extra star I would definitely based on what I witnessed while seated and enjoying my meal. One of their team members was walking around continuously sweeping the floor, clearing tables and making sure the fountain pop and the condiment stations were always spotless.

All in all, one of the cleanest places I have ever eaten in. Great food, and outstanding customer service.

WARNING: To those with peanut allergies. The do offer in shell peanuts free to help themselves. So if you are allergic, ...
