Jugo Juice — Restaurant in Calgary

I’m appalled by my experience at Jugo Juice on Deerfoot. Today, I ordered what was supposed to be bubble tea, but instead, I was handed a cup of foul, sour liquid that tasted like rotten milk. It was completely inedible!

When I complained to the staff, two of the workers—who was a young Filipino and senior Vietnamese lady who dismissed my concerns outright and insisted they made the drink correctly. It was infuriating to have someone so blatantly unprofessional and uncaring regarding my complaint.

I visit other locations frequently and know how bubble tea from Jugo Juice should taste, and this was far from it. The drink was clearly made improperly or with something rotten, and I stand by my opinion—this was not just bad; it was truly DISGUSTING! As someone who frequently enjoys bubble tea, I know what I’m talking about, and I feel let down by the service and quality at this location.

The sheer rudeness and refusal to acknowledge the mistake showed a shocking lack of customer service. I was offered no compensation or even an apology, which is unacceptable. The drink was absolutely disgusting, and I’d expect better from a business that should know how to prepare bubble tea properly and provide at least a decent customer service.

I won’t be returning to this location, and I highly recommend you to stay away unless you want to risk a similar...

Had an Asian lady was working here at 9 am this morning. She greeted us with a dirty look. I walked in and said I needed to use the washroom first. The lady was incredibly rude and said I had to order first or I was not allowed to use the washroom. I was clearly ordering as I was with someone. I asked her name and she gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes. This woman was very unpleasant and unhappy at her job. Absolutely atrocious customer service and will NEVER go to this location again. I’m still dumbfounded that this is considered acceptable customer service. On top of all this she did not wash her hands after handling cash and making our food and she was not wearing a mask. Overall, unsafe, unsanitary, and exceptionally rude...

I ordered a salted caramel black tea which comes with brown sugar coated inside of the to go cup. He took my order and I noticed that he didn't know how to make the drink. It took for a while for him to prepare the drink. I told him that I think he forgot the brown sugar and he just squeezed in the drink, mixed it and told me that it's same now. The pearl was hard, and tea was too sweet because he squeezed extra sugar into the drink. The milk tea part wasn't that bad, but I wouldn't pay more than $5, and I think I can expect better than this quality when I pay just under $10 for one...
