Good Earth Coffeehouse - Elveden Centre — Restaurant in Calgary

I went here because Urban Bean Coffee Company was closed and this was conveniently located across the street. They had free wifi so I decided why not, I walked 8 blocks for this. My only mistake was not checking the ratings before going in. As soon as I walked in, the baristas gave me such a dirty look with horrible body language but I shrugged it off. I ordered an iced mocha and a breakfast wrap. The breakfast wrap was probably the worst thing I ever ate, it was so bland and half warmed up with this weird cinnamon taste that I lost my appetite and couldn't even finish it. The coffee was not that good for the price I had to pay ($5 ? Even Starbucks is cheaper). Eventually I had to leave because the wifi was so painfully slow and kept disconnecting me. The only thing I liked was the decor and the amount of seats next to a window but it was extremely loud inside. With headphones on and music blasting at maximum level, I still could not hear myself think. I ended up going to the Starbucks just down the street since at least their wifi is consistently good.

I will never come back and highly do not recommend this place, listen to the reviews!!!

My girlfriend, Anna, I placed an order last night and I’ll skip the dishes. What a nightmare I cannot even begin to explain. From not having it deliverable to talking to a girl that had no idea our order hadn’t even been placed with the restaurant to having her giggle when I said, I needed to speak to the manager to figure this out. As a small business owner, I did not want to post a review. However, I have no choice because skip the dishes sad so sad too bad and so did your unfortunate starts at 10 and even take the time to understand what I was trying to say. We had tried to place an order for delivery. How are you shut up for pick up is beyond me. All I want it was the money refund it, which the restaurant could’ve done to avoid...

Hands down the best Good Earth I have been to, and continue to go to. Even when they are busy, the staff are so quick to take your order and have it made, and it is made right every single time.

Typically I go there in the mornings/ early afternoons, and the owner, Mo, is always there. Both Mo and Vlada are very friendly, personable, and they remember my order. When you take the time to chat with them, you can see that they are genuine. They always ask about my day and ask how my husband is, even though they have never met him. The best part is that they always know when and how to make me laugh or cheet me up when I'm having a tough day.
