Greta was amazing! You can buy point cards for the arcade machines along with drinks and food! There are two floors; the top one was a bit busier and larger while the bottom one was more cosy and had mostly pinball machines. There's a bar on each level which was nice! And the bathrooms are very clean and easy to find. We went here Saturday at 7:30pm, loaded up $25 on card (160 credits) and got a couple drinks, then played games. There is security at the door which was nice, as well as a $3 coatcheck. The games are about 4-6 credits each, so we had a LOT of playing to do. We also got the birthday package which is a very generous free gift from Greta if you email them when you're planning on coming and that it's someone's birthday. The birthday package included a $25 game card (so now we had 320 credits, oh my...), Greta lip balm, a Greta condom (ha-ha), and a Greta toque! We were very impressed. We also ordered the Greek donuts ($6 for about 7 donuts) from the food truck (which is very cool) halfway through the night and they were absolutely delicious. The games are all great as well, there's everything from Mario Kart to Donkey Kong to Tetris to a huge Space Invaders to mini bowling and clown pins! We had a blast! One fair warning though - it did get INCREDIBLY crowded around 8:15 pm. Like, shoulder-to-shoulder walking and game-line-ups crowded. We still had fun for a bit but it was so loud that we cut the night off early! Besides that, we are definitely planning on returning soon, just maybe during a weeknight! Plus we still have sooo many credits to use...

First time here and my impression was, definitely coming again. It gave off this vibe of timeless fun. The crowd was an easy mix of older teens to a sprinkle of 40- 60 something year old group of friends coming for a night out. My companion spotted someone that looked like their young niece - might have been fun to watch the exchange if it was really her. From the reception to the bar, the staff were friendly and had an infectious energy. There was an assortment of games with only brief line ups for a turn. A card gives access to all the games at the location. Users are able to load it with any amount of money and use it again at the next visit. I did the Mario cart, bowling, alien invaders and basketball- fun!! There are QR codes on the tables to access a virtual menu. I enjoyed the cocktails but the food not so much (hadn't tried it before maybe a second try?) I am not giving 5 stars because I did not get a chance to check out the washroom.

My wife and I along with some friends visited Greta yesterday. For my wife’s birthday. We always loved this place and go there on weekends during summer. We were there for more than two hours all of us spent more than 200 dollars with games and drinks combined. The service inside by bartenders was friendly and excellent as usual. My friends and I went out to their designated smoking pit to grab a smoke. As we were entering back inside one of the bearded security guys said in a condescending tone that I didn’t see you get ID checked and we need to scan you again. The security guy at the door told the bearded guy with a cap that he did scan me in and I was trying to pull my game credit card out of my pocket as my ID was with my wife who was still inside. I told the bearded guy that I was here the whole evening but he didn’t seem to believe me and while the guy at the door gave me the thumbs up that come back in and you good. The bearded caucasian dude brought another white security dude and said “well you don’t need to be snarky about that. You could have said so.” I completely lost my calm and the entire conversation felt very racial as me and my other friends in the smoking pit were the only south asians there. I replied that “I wasn’t snarky at all. And I just replied to your comment.” Then the two security dude charged me again and insisted I was snarky and I replied firmly again that it is your perspective. The friendly security dude finally broke the heated conversation and pulled me inside the bar and apologized. I appreciated his gesture but Why some security guys are racist like that at Greta as I always loved this place. Just posting this for other non-caucasian regulars who love Greta, be careful with the security staff at the door it seemed like they want to start a racially charged argument out of thin air and is disheartening. But still love Greta and hopefully these racist security staffs get screened.

It's sweaty inside to the point of having to step out every 20 minutes to breath the place is fun and the cards used for machines are fairly inexpensive as we loaded $30 onto one and played 7-8 games and felt it was good for the price, the food is hit and miss wish I had taken photos of both but out of respect for how crowded it was didn't want to upset others who were drinking we got the phó spring rolls which were absolutely garbage they were udon noodles inside a spring roll with 0 flavour on a bed of fried crunchy most likely 2 week old cracker/noodle things for like $13 felt absolutely ripped off on the other hand my s/o got the buldok ramen spicy mac and cheese with a $5 addition of half a chicken breast fried on-top and it was delicious again was $25 but expected from a bar like this but was very flavorful with nice mixing textures and the spice although buldok seasoning was between buldok and Sriracha (picture included) the atmosphere was good from about 8pm-10:30 then it reached the point of me a 6'4 man having the squeeze between people blocking ways and stairs and the music being so loud throughout you have to scream into another's ear for them to hear a whisper, Also as a side not if you are a man needing to use the washroom with a toilet the upstairs washroom will trap you as the door opens inward right to the toilet bowl and the toilet paper is on the side you exit from effectively making you forced to stand and climb over the toilet while also opening the door in the space your leg was in the attempting to climb out of the stall like your trying to fit through a foot wide gap. Goodluck Basement bathroom is for handicapped and has more room very ironically as there is only stairs to access the basement. We won't be returning but it was okay for about the first 2 hours

We came to Greta on a Friday night, and while I understand that Greta is new and may have some growing pains, their service has really suffered. Tables were moderately empty BUT all had reserved signs on them, where were all these people with appointments? When we asked at the front, they mentioned we can take any spot but may be kicked out if the party shows up. Not sure I really like this system. Better to manage both your reservations and walk ins to make sure everyone is happy. So after taking about 20 mins to decide to sit at the bar instead, it took us a long time to get someone's attention to order food and drinks. Food is just ok, their namesake Greta blonde is pretty decent though. Games are fun, but when it's busy, get ready to wait in line for each and every one. Some are quite awkwardly placed so you find yourself bumping into people trying to have their food at a nearby table. Lastly, we tried to pay our bill forever! I can see this being a fun night if there weren't so many service obstacles. Can do better.

A cool place with lots of potential but a long way to go. The seating system is problematic, as it's first cien first serve and yet you cns also make reservations. The result is anyone who walks in is left wandering around unable to find anywhere to sit as every seat is reserved. When I came in at least 5 tables were free but had reserved signs on them, one of them never filled up the entire team i was there. The food was pretty good, with the cool idea of giving you plates from around the world. The games were mostly older ones, but still fun, however the placement made it very hard to move around, and sometimes even play. The Foosball take was between eating tables and other games so there is no way you could play it. Because everything is scattered around, no one can really line up and it gets cramped fast. Overall a fun place, that needs to improve their flow and spacing.
