Oh, my goodness, Happy Veggie House is a total gem! It's like they've found the secret to making vegan food that is just as scrumptious, if not more, as any non-vegan dishes.

I mean, their noodles? Absolute heaven! Even though they're vegan, they've got this flavor that is just out of this world. I especially loved the thick fried noodles. They were crispy, flavorful, and just downright satisfying!

And let's not even get me started on the fried rice and stir-fry vegetables. They were so tasty that I found myself going back for seconds... and thirds.

What's more, you get such a good amount of food for what you pay. The prices are totally reasonable, and you definitely won't be leaving hungry.

The cherry on top? The service. The lady who served me was super nice and made me feel right at home.

So, if you're in the mood for some hearty, flavorful, and budget-friendly vegan food, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Happy Veggie House. You...

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim. Neither of us are vegan or vegetarian but we were curious because we had never heard of vegan Chinese food. I will say, I was pretty disappointed. The dumpling soup I got was okay but the stuffed tofu roll and Singapore vegetarian meat noodles were not that great. The tofu rolls had a nice texture but it didn't really taste of much. You need to dip it in a lot of the sauce to really make it taste like anything. The noodles were overly spicy and pretty dry. They didn't distribute the curry powder in the cook very well and some of the noodles were quite hard.

I wasn't sure why this place got so many great reviews. Perhaps because there aren't many vegan/vegetation options for Chinese food, people are desperate.

Edit: we took the left overs home and it literally went sour within a day. We had to...

I love Happy Veggie House! I've been a vegetarian for 25 years and sometimes options are limited, so I love having a restaurant like this one where everything is vegan/vegetarian and you can have a veggie version of all the famous meat dishes. I've never had a bad meal here--everything is delicious (including the spring rolls which are some of the best I've ever had). The black bean chicken is excellent, as well as the sweet and sour pork (for anyone mentioning it's hard, you need to pour the sauce on it and let it sit for a few minutes, then it's perfectly tender). The staff/owner are so nice too. Portions are generous (which as a single person, is great--nothing like leftovers!). Even the...

An awesome hidden gem in Chinatown that serves only, if not mostly, vegetarian/vegan Chinese dishes! Great prices per portion in my opinion. The menu is varied and unique, there are many spins on the normally meaty dishes like ginger beef (which in this case could be made with taro instead). The lighter, healthier food options here leave you feeling satisfied and a bit more health-conscious in a way. Pleasant service, decently fast wait times, and a nice seating area arranged in a food court fashion. I highly recommend the mixed gluten dish which comes in a variety of sauces and flavours. Come check this place out! It’s located inside a small hub-like enclosure with two entrance/exits on either side.
