I went both days for the grand opening and the service was improved on their second day. I didn’t understand why they had two people on the register - one speaking and one pressing the buttons. It would’ve been better to have one person who was fluent in both English and mandarin doing the till. I noticed them greeting Asian people in mandarin and being caught off guard when the customer speaks English instead. I didn’t like how the order numbers were being called only in mandarin on the Saturday as I don’t understand the language and saw my drinks being offered to someone else. I noticed right away and came up to the counter to get my drinks. The service is slow even with many employees working, but I was patient knowing it was their grand opening. I hope they improve their speed as time goes on. I think the music is too loud for the shop. I ordered the chilled mango yogurt with pomelo, but the label has a different name and also includes cream in the name. I found chunks in my drink - not sure if that’s the cream part or just the yogurt being chunky. The peach and strawberry yogurt slush is not advertised as photos - the peach is yellow and not pink. Read moreWent here the evening of May 28, 2024 and 2 ladies were working. The older lady at the cashier didn't have the best English, but she was kind, patient, and always smiling while taking my order. She seemed to be still training, which was fine but she did struggle to answer some of my questions at which point she had to ask the younger girl to come over and assist.
Now this young girl had a major attitude problem. She was mostly busy making drinks but when she was called over to help answer questions she was quite rude in her replies and seemed like she just wanted to get back to making drinks. She even turned around right away after giving a "whatever" answer in the middle of the conversation and just disappeared. I still finished my order with the cashier lady because at least she was kind.
And when that younger girl called out my order number she just abandoned them on the counter before I even made my way up there and she disappeared again without confirming if it was my order or if I needed anything else like a bag, or give any sort of greeting.
The younger girl may know how to make drinks and answer questions, but she definitely needs to learn better customer service. It's like she can't even be bothered to say sorry or thank you or...
Read moreI have been here a few times over the past several months. I can say definitively that it is hit or miss at best, but their performance seems to be below average.
The fact these drinks look better in the picture, is an understatement!
Ordering the peach mochi yogurt, which comes advertised as having pink and yellow marshmallows on top, but I end up getting green and orange ones, is pretty much laughable...
Then, I tried to order the OREO one A FEW TIMES, only to be told they "don't have anymore pearls..."
I hope they come to terms with their shortcomings and improve their business practices, because how many times can they tell someone they ran out of pearls before we decide this is no longer on the list of places to go? You'd think there's a reputation at stake, right?
However, since this is mainly a yogurt drink store and not really a bubble tea drink store, having pearls in stock all the time is not their strong suit anyway, so I won't criticize them too harshly on that. But, it does leave a bad impression, especially when it is not an isolated incident and there's still a few hours...
