Our first time here was 2 years ago and we were so impressed with the flavor and how freshly cooked the food was. Since then, we've been coming back and bringing friends to savor the food with us. We usually ordered the classic cheeseburger with fries. Yesterday, we decided to come back after being away for a few months. We were quite surprised that the overall quality of the food changed. First, the burgers were not wrapped in their usual foil cover. The reason was probably because we had to add our own toppings ourselves. The toppings, laid openly on a table next to the food truck, was a bit of a turn off, what with foreign objects or insects or such that could easily land on the open tray of pickles, relish, onions, and radishes. One of the reasons we loved the burgers was the extra toppings that made the burgers exceptionally good, prepared and wrapped neatly in the foil wraps. The burgers itself were still freshly cooked, but it now was a bit saltier. Similarly, the hotdogs were also disappointing, handed to us bare (no toppings) so we have to add ketchup or mustard by ourselves. The fries were freshly cooked, but no salt was added to it. After our meal yesterday, I'm not sure we will be coming back again soon, unless the quality went back to how we...
Read moreI work downtown about a block away from pathway pit stop and had seen it a few times. But was a little reluctant to try it as I was worried it was gonna be just like every other truck out there small greasy items for big amount one day a couple weeks ago to try it out chicken fingers and fries and it was actually pretty good so I’ve tried a couple times again since the food is amazing. I had their burgers twice now and both times they were hot. They were juicy and they’re not the little tiny thin patties like you would see from most places, big thick juicy and have a lot of flavour if you’re downtown and looking for something outside the fast brown and more home-cooked this place is...
Read moreRight at the start of a beautiful park, you’ll meet a food truck with everything you want in there. I’m glad we stopped and ate here, the food was absolutely delicious! Ordered a poutine and it was great. Fresh curds and crispy fries with some perfectly sweet gravy. Grab your food and sit by the water to enjoy, it’s the perfect lunch. Waited about 7 minutes from ordering to receiving our food which gives me confidence that the chef isn’t just tossing around some quick ready to go ingredients together. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anybody in the area for a quick and...
