Poco Loco Pizza — Restaurant in Calgary

Some friends and I dropped by this location a few weeks ago, looking to have some drinks and shoot some pool. When we arrived and got a table there were only a few people at the bar, I assume they were regulars, and only one waitress/bartender was working. (She was about 40, tattoos, red hair) It was a good 15 minutes before she came to get our drink orders, and then I had to go up to the bar and request food menus. There I was told that the kitchen was closed (at only 8?) and so the only menu items available were pizza from the attached pizzeria. After another 15-20 minutes I had to go straight up to the bar AGAIN to place our order. Keep in mind there were maybe five patrons other than my group, not very busy, the server simply preferred to stand behind the bar and chat with the regulars rather than pay attention to the tables? To shorten this up, she forgot one of our pizzas (we ordered 3, got 2, and were told we hadn't ordered anything else), we gave up on drink refills after our second round, and she didn't seem to know how to divide up our bill? She actually GAVE US the pament machine and told us we could figure it out then WALKED AWAY. We could have shorted on the bill but we didn't. My friends were APALLED at the service and one accused her of being drunk on the job. I'm not sure if that was correct or she was just careless, but we're definitely not...

Busy at lunch (order pizza with drinks if possible for faster service). They serve pizza by the slice to go next door as well.

Got the four amigos pizza. Crust - very nice. I liked the thickness of it and had a good crispiness. No sogginess at all. Sauce - good volume of sauce. There was some "extra" sauce in the mix. Very nicely seasoned. Cheese - had a nice pull to it. Standard mozzarella, no particularly standout flavour in the cheese Toppings - superb. Perfect amount of meat without being overwhelming or piled on.

All around well balanced pizza. Crust and sauce play well together, but it didn't stand out as...

I tried to like this place. I bought pizza with spinach and pepperoni on top. Instead of using spinach leaves, it was blobs of frozen Spanish which was still mushy and wet when it got to me. It was disgusting.

I then got a beef dip another time. The bread was toasted and dry, to the point where it disintegrated in your hands. No butter or anything to combat the dryness. The meat was also dry and strongly, like it was too long in the microwave. The beef sauce was good, but it only had about 1/4 of the liquid needed to enjoy the beef dip. Just all...
