Ordered a vegan fried rice (with tomato and pineapple sauce). We received fried rice with egg in it, no pineapples, no tomato. Mistake happen, it’s whatever. But when we called to request a new one made (we had just gotten it home to eat, we did take out) we got yelled at that egg IS vegan, and vegan means no tofu. My wife corrected her, asked for a new dish because egg is NOT VEGAN, she yelled that we’re wrong, and she can’t remake it for us to bring the other one back and swap it, because we already got it home. I think this is a combination of staff being under-educated on the product, as well as frankly poor customer service. Arguing with customers when YOU’RE wrong is a bad look, and hanging up on someone is just insulting.

This is ultimately a dietary concern. Putting egg in food where it does not belong could make someone sick. And if they’re mixing up gluten free and vegan, they could be making celiac people SERIOUSLY ILL.

I love Thai express but will not be returning to this location after the horrible service i just received. After being overcharged on a few orders, i let it go because i loved the food and the main cashier lady was quite polite and nice. However after the cook called out my order number, i left and got back to work to realize it was the wrong one, called and they said to come back to get mine as it was made and waiting. went in and was told i would have to repay for that meal. Considering they were the ones that messed up, the male chef would not budge and got verbally loud with me and refused. saying it was my fault i left and had the wrong one. If I had a choice to give zero I would give that to lady working both sides. I asked for daily deal with a combo and I asked for the drink he said it won’t comes with it although I asked for combo. Any how guy was not really familiar so asked them about transaction she returned me the money whatever they charged except combo. They still owe me drink for the combo I ordered when i asked for it that rude lady was being so racist to us and called us cheap and started yelling upon their own mistake in front of other guests.
