Holy Grill — Restaurant in Calgary

Holy Grill, one awesome restaurant with very tasty food options. This location is located at 444 5th Holy Grill

I have been to this location several times for lunch as I work in the office buildings nearby. My favorite choices are ranch burger or the double double with cheese. There are many options to choose from, as you can see in the pics below, but these are my faves.

The staff here are very friendly and quick to prepare your order. You get a flashy disk to call you to pick up from the counter when it's ready. Each order comes home.cut chips. If you just want chips and some sauce to dip, there are plain and beet chips with a slightly spicy dip to go along. The flavors are as expected, fresh, and flavourful.

During the lunch hours, this location can fill up quickly, so make sure you arrive a little early to get a table.  Coffee and cold beverages are available or just water if needed. Cost is reasonable for the quality of food.

I have many more items on their menu to try, but I'm sure neither of us will be disappointed.

If you are looking for a place to relax, have a good meal with friends or alone, I recommend Holy Grill.

Decent flavour on the burger itself. The patty was good, if a bit underseasoned. The bun was soft and had a great flavour. Although I am a mustard fan, the flavour of it overpowered the rest of the burger. 4/5 on flavour.

Price point was on par for these types of burger places, so a little pricey for the amount you get. 3/5

Presentation for takeout was disappointing. Burger was quite squished when wrapped up, and was stuffed into a small paper bag. There was a handful of chips dumped on top of the burger in said bag, and when I tried to get the burger out of the bag, the chips got all over the place and made a huge mess. At the counter, they asked if I wanted Ketchup, I said no, but there were about 5 packets of ketchup in the bag as well. 1/5

In the interest of fairness, I imagine the experience would be better if I had time to dine in, as it is a nice looking...

Never in my life have I ever experienced anything like this. Ordered a Mr Chicken sandwich and almost choked on this hot sauce bottle cap which was inside my sandwich. I took it back to the location to let them know. The only thing I was met with was ‘ooops sorry about that, we can give you another one.’ I’m appalled and taken aback by the disregard for food safety, the handling of the situation and the resolution. The manager reached out to me days later and offered to make the situation better and I removed the review happily. I am reposting because others deserve to know of this experience especially after almost chocking on a bacteria-infested bottle cap and being given a $25 gift card to hopefully keep silent. I hope others do not have this experience...
