I truly cannot praise this place enough. Java Jax has become my favorite café, restaurant, and third place. From the moment I first stepped in, Greg and his entire staff have consistently made me feel beyond welcomed, cared for, and appreciated.

If you’re looking for a spot where the staff not only perfects your drink down to the smallest detail but also genuinely cares about you as a person, this is the place. It’s everything Starbucks wishes it could be. Greg’s commitment to his customers is incredible—not just for me, but for every single person I’ve seen walk through these doors.

The first thing you’ll notice about Java Jax is the unparalleled customer service. Greg seems to recognize everyone who comes in, creating a warm, familiar atmosphere that feels like home. The attention to detail and personal touch are what set this place apart. Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, you’re treated like family.

Java Jax is one of the few places I’ve ever been to where every single drink and food item is consistently great. Their vegan options are thoughtfully crafted, not just an afterthought to fill the menu. Everything is prepared with care, and it shows.

Greg goes above and beyond for his customers. He’s serenaded customers with birthday songs on his piano, shared his own compositions, and always ensures everything is perfect. One time, I accidentally stayed long after closing, but instead of kicking me out, Greg welcomed me and made me feel at ease. He’s even whipped up a soup on the spot as the café was closing, chased customers down to give them their coffee, and returned change when a slight miscalculation occurred. His honesty and kindness are truly rare.

If I could only go to one café for the rest of my life, it would be Java Jax. This café is more than just a place to grab a coffee—it’s where I’ve experienced some of the best of humanity and moments that feel almost magical.

What a rare gem! I "stumbled" upon Java Jax Good Roast Coffee on a cold, wet Thursday evening. It's cozy & comfortable atmosphere was like a plaid flannel shirt: mellow, rustic, warming & well worn. The friendly owner greets you like an old friend who has stepped into his home full of wooden objects, including a guitar. Why not, as Greg Organ is not only the proprietor; he's the chef & a musician who shows off his vocal chops while preparing your order. This talented man offers homemade pastries, chili, lasagna & unique personal pizzas like prociutto & hot honey. I had a hard time choosing but ended up ordering a date square paired with freshly brewed decaf coffee. Greg brews decaf to order, so no bitter back-burner swill here. A sign of a great coffee shop? Check it's decaf. It's this commitment to excellence that sets Java Jax Good Roast Coffee shop apart from grab'n'go places: fresh brewed decaf, free refills, cool high end takeout cups, wrapped croissants to keep them fresh & the MUSIC!
