Subway — Restaurant in City of Langley

Wow, I cannot believe I'm even leaving a review at a subway... but the service I had there today was unbelievably spectacular. I have celiac disease, and usually am met with a blank stare when I mention it. Subway in general is just a terrible choice for someone with celiac disease due to the model of the business. That's not a dig at subway, but a dig at me as someone who sometimes is cavalier about a very real illness.

Today I asked for a gluten free 6 inch, and without prompting, was asked by the most friendly male sandwich artist if I had celiac disease. I said yes, and then was completely blown away.

This man washed his hands, washed a knife, washed the entire space in front of me. Pre-toasted my sub knowing it comes straight from the fridge (normally when I eat it I expect it to be a bit cold in the middle). Then pulled fresh ingredients. Then toasted in a fresh toasting thingy (like a pan, idk... he cleaned it), and then topped it and packed it on the freshly washed table top.

On top of that, this man was smiling, brought the energy, made small talk with me and my bf, the dad with his kid in front of us... he brought the energy.

I never tip on fast food, but today was the exception. It's fast food for a reason. This man went above and beyond to a level I've never experienced in this type of dining genre. I wish I caught his name. The lovely young gentleman working around 2pm on Dec. 29, 2023 deserves a raise. 10/10.

Omg. I came to give a 5-star review.. for a Subway of all things… a SUBWAY… only to find a ton of people had already beaten me to the punch with a bunch of 5-star reviews.

And they deserve it. S__EE greeted us with a such a warm and friendly personality. With each step of the sandwich making process she was just responsive enough that she wasn’t annoying but also engaging enough that you felt like she actually cared how you were doing that day. While laying down your processed white cheese. Which feels like a silly thing to say about going into a Subway.

Thing is, she was also really good at making the sandwich. It’s not like she was over the top chipper or anything annoying like that either. She was just such a warm hearted person you could feel it off of her. And clearly others writing these reviews agree.

I used to go to whatever Subway was closest to me in this part of the city but this location is gonna be my go to from now on.

Very disappointed.. Lazy staff.. Restaurant open till 10pm but they are not taking customers... My wife is sick and I thought to have subway for dinner tonight.. So I went there at 9:46pm. ... But they did not let me come in and refused to service that we closed at 9:40pm... I mean like what Is that...

Another important thing when I parked my car in the parking the short guy wearing ADIDAS saw me coming and gave reaction and lipsing of ABUSE..Anyone can tell he just abused bcoz I was last customer .I wish m wrong .. But after this I could not stop myself to make a review as It s subway in my neighborhood and I always go there whenever we feel like eating subway..but today You guys sucks ... I can clearly see that u r not a happy staff and ready to serve..

Now I waited for them to see what time they get out..They actually get out at 10:04Pm... Who in the world can close store in less than 4 mins..
