This is a conflicting review to rate because the staff at this location are so pleasant. No one is ever short with me or rude in any way. However, the order control is awful.
I decided to pick up some food for me and my 2 coworkers last week. The lady handed me 3 bags of food and I was on my way. The math checked out so I didn't look into the bags. I get to work and my burgers are missing. Nice or not I was pretty choked. Now I need to make a phone call and most likely drive back to the restaurant. The manager was super nice and apologetic over the phone. She said they would make fresh burgers right away. So I drove back.
When I got there I spoke with 2 ladies through the drive thru window. One must have been the manager, I couldn't quite tell. They were both incredibly nice and genuinely sorry that they had forgotten my food. I told them that this was not the first time. In fact both times I had been to this location parts of my lunch had been left out. They again apologized profusely and offered me complimentary food.
I guess the lesson here is to check your food before you leave any restaurant. But seriously, how hard is it to get the order right?
Pros: -Wonderful friendly staff -Food quality is good
Cons: -Not easy to access the drive thru when busy -Double check that order...
Read moreI ordered a couple of burgers from the Value Menu and this was my experience while waiting: First noticed all the staff were Indo-Canadian females, all speaking Punjabi behind the counter preparing food. The lady who served me was not fluent in English. A gentleman who had already been served approached the counter and asked for some "Sriracha" sauce. Another lady handed him with a sauce packet and his response was "this is sweet n sour, not sriracha sauce". She then took the packet back and gave him the right one. That same lady then attended the fryer and dumped some fries into a poutine case. She then used her bare hand to pull a hand-full of fries out of the case to even it out, carelessly firing the unwanted fries onto the kitchen floor. She then opened a pouch of cheese curds and mauled the curds with her bare hand as she dumped them onto the remaining fries. Wondering if her hands were clean? Or if she may have sneezed on them or worse? So was I. Lastly, the clerk served me my bag of burgers with no napkins and I had to use the wax paper to wipe my face after eating. So there you have it. Lack of sanitation, hygiene, poor service and weak English all in 5 minutes. Add up the variables and patronize at...
Read moreNot too bad but not that great. I do admit the food does always taste great. They just don't always appear the way they should when you open it up. Imagine opening up your number 5 with cheese only to see Jabba the hutts tongue sticking out of the bun. Then you gotta put it back in. The drive thru I understand is a convenience but cmon with the "avg time" shortcuts. Many times they will take an order delayed with a 4 min interval in between order taking.
I've been in the fast food service industry. All it takes to get better is getting less comfortable and earning the wage that so many are hungry to try and make as a passive or survival. I love professionalism and accuracy. It felt great to achieve peoples trust in fast efficiency. Many just get their foot in the door to just pass by as if the company's time and efficiency had not existed before their hiring. It's a main location that can set the standard for many locations. Unfortunately I don't think it'll make it at the caliber of leniency the manager in...
